A.N. Ayo, I'm back! Still referring to "gov" as DC even though his name tag in the series is now "gov" and you're going to deal with it /j Ily all.

Anyway-

Synopsis: So I was talking to my friend Purplerebel4ever and she mentioned a very good point. Poor Wyoming is always forgotten about! So what am I gonna do about that? I'm gonna write some angsty angst about it, obviously!

"And this one has 'literally anything happening in Wyoming!'"

Wyoming constantly thought of those words, even months after they were said. Wyoming knows that was just Florida being Florida, but it still bothered him to no end.

Sure, Wyoming knew he wasn't the most interesting state, but did that really mean he should constantly be forgotten about? Like, they all live in the same house now and he can't recall if he's even talked to anyone since they moved in. Not because he didn't want to talk to them, but because they ignored him.

"Hey, DC, I..." Wyoming started when DC passed him in the living room area.

"Oh, hey..." DC started before they heard a loud crash coming from the kitchen.

"Uh, DC, we have a problem!" Florida called out from the kitchen.

DC sighed and turned to Wyoming, "hold that thought..." he was going to address Wyoming by his name, but he totally blanked on which state he was. "...you..."

He tried to cover it up, but it didn't work. To be fair, he was concerned that Florida had broken something so that's all he could really think about. DC just quickly ran to the kitchen.

"Ok, I'll just wait here, I guess..." Wyoming said. He sighed and waited for like five minutes. He realized DC wasn't coming back to help him out with any problem he had so he just went back up to his bedroom. He looked at his bedroom door. It had a sign on it that said 'Wyoming.' (Yeah, I actually have no idea if their rooms have their names of the doors-)

Wyoming sighed and opened his bedroom door and entered the room, closing the door behind him.

Wyoming felt tears prick the corner of his eyes. He sat against the wall next to his bed and put his head in his knees and let a few tears roll down his cheeks.

Quiet sobs escaped his lips and he would say that he wished no one outside could hear them, but he knew they couldn't, because they don't ever pay attention to him. They always just forget he exists. Like he isn't part of the country. It hurt.

He didn't even know why he was so upset by this. Surely, he should be used to it, right? Well, he isn't.

There was a quiet knock on Wyoming's door after a few hours.

"Who could that be..?" Wyoming whispered to himself.

"Come in...?" Wyoming called, as if it were a question, to the person outside the door.

The door opened slowly and DC peeked his head into the room.

"Hey, Wyoming, I was just coming to... were you crying...?" It didn't take long for DC to notice the tear stains on Wyoming's face.

             "Wha- uh, no..." Wyoming lied.

DC sat down next to Wyoming on the floor, after coming into the room completely and closing the door behind him.

"Hey, what's wrong? I was just coming to see what you needed earlier when I never got back around to helping you. Florida broke the sink faucet and I had to keep the house from flooding so I got a little busy. I'm sorry about that." DC apologized.

"Yeah, that does sound like something Florida would do..." Wyoming chuckled a bit.

"Yeah, so what did you need? Is everything okay?" DC asked, genuinely concerned.

"You know, I can't remember now." Wyoming said.

"Then, why were you crying?" DC asked, still concerned about Wyoming.

"I just kinda thought that everyone forgot about me..." Wyoming looked down, ashamed, hearing how "stupid" it sounded out loud.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Wyoming! I promise no one forgets about you! I try my best to make sure that every state feels listened to and noticed, and I guess I failed you. I'm so sorry." DC apologized again, putting his hand on Wyoming's shoulder.

"It's okay. I get it. I mean, there are fifty of us you have to keep track of. And we all know that Florida can be a handful. It can't be easy. I know you probably weren't forgetting about me on purpose." Wyoming said, understanding.

"Of course, I would never forget about you on purpose. If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to ask. I may have to take a little time to get to it, depending on what trouble the other states, probably mostly Florida, is causing, but I will always get to it. You have my word." DC promised.

"Thanks, DC." Wyoming smiled at him.

"Anytime. Now, I better go make sure that Florida didn't break anything else. If you remember what you needed earlier, just let me know." DC said as Wyoming nodded in understanding.
