I Dangled in my mothers jaws. I couldn't see but I knew this was my mother by her scent. I heard her talking to someone. I listend straining my tiny ears. "I found him in the woods. Im going to take care of him, his name is Pixel." She spoke gently. Pixel, so that's what she's going to call me. I like it! She stepped on something and it snapped. I whimperd and she pushed through something. She put me down on something soft. She settled down next to me. I nuzzled closer, letting her warth sink into my fur.
"Guys wait for me!" I huffed as I chased down my siblings. Comet almost crashed into me. Comet was a blue male wolf with a brown splotch on his chest that has red flames around it. I had two other siblings, Milky and Galaxy. Glaxy was a male purple wolf with blue and black spirals around his chest. Milky was the only girl and wasn't as colorful as my brothers. She was cream colored with blue eyes. She had the most attitude. " Why don't you use your legs runt!" Comet said running away from me to get to the other side of the camp. They were right, I was the runt. The weakest link. I whimperd. Milky ran past me. "Stop whinning runt and run. If you can get there before me I will give you a piece of my squrriel. "She said runing after them. She was the nicest to me, but still pretty mean.
I ran after her, pushing hard on my tiny legs. One day I will be stronger than you guys! I thought running harder. Everything was a blur around me as I ran. I felt fast. I enjoyed running. I felt fur next to me. I heard Milky slide to a halt. I heard her squeal of excitement. "Look at him run!" She squealed. Finaly they were noticing how fast I was going. "He won!" I heard Comets sigh. I kept moving my paws. But something stopped me and I was just scopping air. "Well aren't you the fast one." My father spoke, as he grapped me with his jaws. He set me down. " You would make a great elk runner." He spoke proudly. My mother padded over herding my siblings with her. "Stop filling their imaginations with nonsense. They is no seperation between the packs and never will be." She huffed tierdly.
Peppermint pushed out of the nursery with her pups following, Mike and Jeremy. Mike was black with purple eyes. And Jeremy was russet colored with emerald green eyes. They were my best friends.
