The Lies

Chapter 2

I walk over to my stuff and put my dress on "hey beautiful, you ready to go?" I hear behind me "yep lets go" I say climbing the wall, we walk to this cute little ice cream shop, I didn't realize who's ice cream shop it was until I heard "OH MY GOD Andrea is that you?" "Aunt Kylie? I have missed you so much, how have you been?" I ask "I have missed you so much too, I'm doing great, its so good to see you out and about again, I hope this boy right here is treating my princess good" she says seriously "I only met her today mum, I will treat her like the queen she is, I promise" Blade says "wait you're her son, Aunt Kylie has told me so much about you, and we used to play together when I'd come over when me and Gemma used to have sleepovers" I say.

We go and sit down and Aunt Kylie brings over my favorite ice cream and a bottle of water, "so Razor, Gemma told me what your ex did to you, I'm so sorry you had to go through that, I promise to show you how you are supposed to be treated" Blade says "I really appreciate that Blade, but I'm not really looking for a relationship but I'm happy to get to know who are now and see what happens, I want to go on a few dates with others first too" I say "that's okay beautiful" he replies, we laugh and talk for a good hour.

"I better get back to work, it was amazing getting to know you" Blade says getting up and we walk back to the beach "hey, I'm having a fire and a few drinks tonight why don't you come" I say as we get back to the beach "sure just text me your address" he says giving me a cuddle and going back to work, I walk over to the boys to find Josh and Jack sitting with them "hey, I hope you don't mind us sitting here we got bored" Jack says "no, it's completely fine, but we should get going we got a lot to do for tonight" I say starting to pack my towel into my bag and grabbing my soccer ball.

"Hey, want us to come help? We have nothing else to do" Josh offers, "sure, I could use all the help I can get, we have to stop at the store first so I can buy snacks and alcohol" I reply "we will meet you at the shops" Jack says getting up, Joel and Tyler take the esky to the car and I go to grab the basket but Josh takes it out of my hand and carries it to my car "thank you, see you at the store" I say getting into my car and starting it, Joel and Tyler climb in and I drive off "so how was your date with Mister lifeguard?" Joel asks "it was good but I don't know if I will like him like that, he's Gemma's brother" I reply "oh god Razor don't go there you two have been best friends forever" Tyler says "I'm not don't worry but I need to tell him tonight".

We get to the store and I see Josh and Jack waiting with two trolleys "hey boys, so here's the plan, Joel and Tyler you go get the food I need to cook, Josh and Jack you come with me to get the snacks and alcohol, Jack go get another trolley please" I say opening my phone sending Joel the list of food him and Tyler need to get, I send the snack list to Jack and Josh "okay lets go we will meet at the register so I can pay" I say "we can pay too Razor Jack says "oh I wouldn't if I was you, she will go off at you for offering" Tyler says to him.

"let's go boys we have a lot to do and I need a shower before tonight" I say ignoring Jacks statement, we walk to the snack aisle and grab everything we need and put in the trolley "okay now to get the alcohol" I say walking towards the alcohol "what do you want us to grab?" Jack asks "please grab whatever you like to drink and don't worry about the price, it doesn't matter I can afford it" I reply as I walk over to get Joel and Tyler's drinks, then I get mine, I meet the boys at the counter and pay for everything.

We load the cars up and go home, Josh and Jack follow in their car, we get home and I take a few bags inside and the boys bring in the rest of the bags and the alcohol "I'm going for a shower Joel show the boys where to put everything and please get the fire pit ready and get plenty of wood from the shed" I say walking up the stairs "hey Joel, is Razor okay? I noticed the scars on her back, legs, stomach and arms" I hear Jack ask "she will tell you in her own time" I heard Joel reply I text Joel 'tell him the truth, I don't want to talk about it' I send the text and he replies 'okay baby girl', I turn my speaker on and blast some rock music, I get out of my clothes and let the hot water wash over my body, I wash my hair and my body.

I get out of the shower and go into my closet to pick out an outfit, I choose my favorite black cardigan and my tights and my black boots, I walk down stairs and walk into the kitchen, I don't feel like talking to the boys right now, I put all the food I need to cook in the oven and start preparing the snacks, just as I finish I get a message from Blade 'hey what's your address?' he asks I send him my address and he tells me he will be here in five minutes as he lives across the street.

"Hey bub, Jack wants to talk to you he's out the back, here's a drink for you and him, please talk to him" I hear Tyler say behind me "I have to watch the food" I say back "go, I'll watch the food, please go talk to him?" he pleads "fine" I reply as I grab the drinks and walk out the back, I see Jack sitting there looking frustrated "hey, what's going on?" I ask sitting down giving him his drink and opening mine "I can't believe that you went through that" he replies angry, I flinch and move away from him and he notices "I'm sorry bub, it just makes me so mad that he did that to you" he says "hey, I'm okay, I'm still breathing and I'm finally genuinely happy" I say moving closer to him.

"Look lets not worry about that tonight and we can have fun, I want to have a good night with you okay" I say grabbing his hand and rubbing it "okay bub, lets go inside it looks like we have some sticky beaks" he says laughing "I'm going to kill them I swear" I say getting up going towards the door and the other three boys scatter "GET YOUR ASSES HERE" I yell and all of them hurry toward me "tonight is all about having fun okay, no funny business is to happen, Joel any fights happen you kick those people out, everyone understand me" "yes Razor" all the boys say together.

The doorbell rings and I go to let everyone in and they all head out the back as Joel starts the fire, as I'm about to close the door Blade walk up to it "hey beautiful" he say giving me a hug "hey can we talk for a bit before we join the others?" I ask "sure" he says following me to the kitchen "your probably going to hate me but I don't want a relationship with you, your like family to me and I don't feel comfortable seeing you like that, I'm so sorry" I say sitting on the counter "I'm actually glad you told me that, as I feel the same way, I think its better us just being best friends like we used to be" he sighs a sigh of relief "oh also, your ex has been sentenced to life in prison" he says.

I jump off the counter and hug him "are you serious?" I ask him "yes gorgeous, I was there" he reply's "thank god, also do you think this is cute enough as there is this cute guy that I want to impress?" I ask, "oh you mean the guy who looks like he's about to kill me?" he asks "yes" I laugh motioning for him to come in "Jack I want you to meet my cousin Blade, he was just letting me know that my ex is in jail for the rest of his life" I introduce them "hey Jack, it's nice to meet you, it seems like my little cousin here has a little crush on you so I will leave you guys alone now" he laughs walking out "it's okay I have a crush on you too" Jack says grabbing my hand "come on lets go, everyone is waiting for you to explain the rules" he says leading me outside.

He goes to let go of my hand but I grab his hand tighter, he looks at me and smiles "okay guys listen up, tonight is all about having fun and having a few drinks, any fighting will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave, does everyone understand?" I order "yes razor" they all chorus "okay good now let's get this party started" I say going to sit down, Jack pulls me on his lap as Josh turns the music up. "Hey gorgeous" Tyler says as him, Joel and a few other people come sit with us "hey baby boy, how's your night going so far?" I ask him noticing he seems upset.

It's going good" he lies, I notice that the food is getting low "hey Tyler, can you come help me get more food?" I ask him "sure" he says getting up and following me to the kitchen "what's wrong?" I ask him "my ex is here and he's been texting me saying he misses me and he hates that I'm with Joel" he replies and starts crying "I will be right back okay" I say grabbing his phone and heading out the back "Joel, come here now" I say to Joel "what's up baby girl?" he asks and I show him the messages, "go into the kitchen and comfort my baby boy" I say walking over to Tyler's ex "YOU" I yell pointing at him "GET YOUR FAKE ASS OUT OF MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW, HOW DARE YOU HURT MY BEST FRIEND AND THEN ACT AS IF YOU DONE NOTHING WRONG" I yell, he runs through the house and out the front door.
