I've learned from experience that the brightest smiles can hide the darkest feelings.


That those who look kind and caring could've faced the most miserable tragedies.

That the ones who seem to need protection could be protecting others from themselves.

That the ones who seem happy could be the ones who have the most sadness of them all.


The God of Infatuation was just another one of them.


Whether it was for your happiness or my survival, you were considered prey by my instincts.

You were nothing to me, just another host to leech on.


But you made me feel things, like the butterflies in your stomach that the spider talked about, or the skipping heartbeats that the insomniac mentioned once or twenty times.

I felt things I only read in books, things I was only able to observe from afar, things I believed were just make-believe fantasy.


You were the end of me.
