KONOHA'S CRIME DIARIES (THE PARALLEL WORLD)

The Chaotic Night

They are nowhere to be found I repeat, they are nowhere to be found. Over.

"Message received from air patrolling team cheif, they are nowhere to be found. Shall we tell them to return?" One of the officers asked the cheif.

"What about the ground patrolling team? Any updates?" The cheif asked.

"The updates are same as before Cheif. They are still not traced." One of the officers said.

The Cheif sighed and after a while spoke, "Tell the air patrolling team to scan again for a while."
"Yes cheif." The officer spoke and turned to her desk.

It was the one of those rare chaotic nights where the underworld lords had led destruction in the city and this time  the governor had put CBI in charge to catch those lords, when the police failed.

The Cheif a young man, with long black hair gathered in a white bun holder, while two locks of his hair fell loose framing his face, pale skin, large dark brown eyes, he wore green coat matched with white pants and light brown shoes which fitted him well inspite of having slender frame.

He was standing in the middle of the lab and was watching his team members recieving and sending messages. He was immersed in his thoughts of how to trace those lords and his thoughts were interrupted by an unfamiliar voice saying "Tell the air patrolling team to return."

He turned around and saw a man with onyx eyes, snow like white skin, ash-grey hair tied in a ponytail, black rimmed glasses, his dark purple coat with a high collar, a white under shirt and dark purple pants with white belt complimenting his tall frame.

The chief questioned polietly "Who are you to order my team?"

The man turned to him and spoke "Well, nice to meet you too MR. HAKU. I am your partner in this mission of tracing the underworld lords."

"Partner? If it was so the Governor would have informed me about your joining." Haku spoke.

"Well, the Governor... " The man was interupted by one of the officer.

"Excuse me, cheif it's governor's call and she says, it's urgent."

Haku nodded and the officer handed him the tablet.

"Good Evening, Governor." Haku greeted.
The governor had  pale skin with delicate facial features, purple colour eyes, extermely long sweeping light coloured hair, dark coloured lipstick on her lips, dark shade of nailpolish, she wore a high collared black jumpsuit, white coloured coat with red border. Her chin rested on her hands.

"Good evening Haku, you can call me by my name too, anyways, that's not why I am here to discuss about." The Governor spoke.
Haku nodded and the Governor continued, "I have appointed another Cheif to work with you in this mission. He will be joining soon or he must have come today itself."

The man peeped into the screen and waved at her.
"Yes, he sure has come, I told you to wait till tomorrow Kabuto." The Governor spoke.

"Sorry, MS.KAGUYA, but I couldn't wait till tomorrow as I want to catch these lords as soon as possible and moreover, check on the status." Kabuto spoke.

"Anyways, hope you two cooperate and this mission is a success. All the best to both of you and Haku I will mail you Kabuto's works later." The Governor spoke and disconnected the call.

Haku turned to Kabuto and spoke gently "Welcome, MR. KABUTO let's do our best and trace those lords, as soon as we can."

"Yes, Haku we sure will." Kabuto replied.

"Any updates officer?" Haku questioned to the officer working silently on her desk.
"No sir." she replied.
"Tell the air patrolling team to return and if there are any updates inform me immediately." Haku ordered and left. Kabuto followed him.

In Haku's cabin.

Kabuto was reading the files of the lords that his phone rang.
Kabuto looked at Haku and spoke "Excuse me, I gotta take this."
Haku nodded and Kabuto went out.

Haku started thinking about the ways to trace the lords, but landed nowhere. He went to the terrace to get some fresh air and took a deep breath.

After a while, he heard Kabuto's voice "They don't have a clue my lord, infact The Governor herself is clueless."

Mr.Kabuto..., my lord, is he working with the underworld lords?

Haku returned to his cabin and checked his mails.

Mr.Kabuto work files. He opened it and all his works were astonishing, traced all the criminals single-handedly no records of team members. Haku was shocked.

No team members? Is he really working with the underworld lords? Or he himself is one of them?
