Vi walks into the office at 5am for her usual rounds and is surprised when she sees Taavin waiting there for her. She's still a bit hesitant after hearing what Taavin told her the day before and didn't know what to say. However, she did come up with one thing. No matter what, she's going to help Taavin, he was her best-friend and if she didn't stick by him through thick and thin, then what's the point?

She walks in and stops when she sees me. I wasn't able to sleep last night after seeing Vi's defeated look yesterday. I had debated whether or not to show up today, but we had to have this talk sooner or later and it was killing me when I saw how guarded Vi's stance and eyes were, as if she was trying to keep me, her best friend, away from finding out what lay in her heart. Vi hesitantly walked towards me but her eyes looked darted around looking anywhere but at me. I wasn't used to of this but considering what I told her yesterday, it made sense for her to act this way.

"So it really is true?" I finally say finding my voice. I look up into Taavin's eyes and see the regret on his face and know that it's true and even though he told me everything yesterday, I still couldn't believe it.

Taavin stays quite for a while but finally says, "Vi, I know it's hard to believe me but yes it is true, I'm in the Mafia."

~stay happy~

He's in the mafia. Wow. Didn't expect that coming. I know I left this chapter at a cliff hanger and I know you'll probably hate me for that, because I hate cliff hangers too, but writing them is really fun. So I hope you liked this chapter, it's pretty short but I'm planning on making the next chapter a bit longer and explaining everything, because there are a lot of unsaid things here.
