Definitely not a prologue

"Is it wrong for me if I say I want to stay by your side?"

A dim light coming from a laptop illuminated a small and dark room. A girl figure can be seen sitting in front of the computer, her slender finger typing on the keyboard. The only sound can be heard was from the fast typing the girl did.

Tack tack tack.

The girl didn't blinked as she continued her work. Her (e/c) eyes focused on her screen as her fingers continue typing. She didn't bother to look at the keyboard since her fingers remember perfectly where the words located. Well, who are she to blame? She has been writing her own story ever since she was a kid. Horror, fantasy, adventure, fan fiction, you name it! At first, she writing her story on a piece of paper or in a book, that is until she bought a laptop for herself. It has become a habit of hers, but she enjoyed it. She enjoyed when she write her story and she enjoyed the reaction of the people who commented on her story.

A smile tugged on her lips. Finally, she finished her new chapter of her fan fiction book she currently worked on. It's based on her favorite game, Genshin Impact. She really love that game, there's so many amazing sight to see! Not to mention it was a open world as well. During her time playing it, she has met so many people who shared the same interest as her. Sometimes they helped her with her quest or with the weekly boss. Well sure, her character is quite strong to take the boss alone thanks to her incredible luck obtaining the good artifacts and the suitable weapon for her characters, but she still prefer to have someone accompany her. Heck, she even met with her readers sometimes without they noticed it!

'Well, let's checked this chapter first before publishing it..' she thought and reread her chapter. After reread it twice, she let out a satisfied hums before click on the 'publish' button. A notice that showed the chapter has successfully published appeared on her screen, causing the girl smile. Her eyes trailed on the time.

'00.00 a.m.' she noted. A yawn escaped her mouth as she rubbed her eyes. 'Just in time.' The girl chuckled. She stand up and lazily make her way to the door. She want a glass of water before going to bed. As she leave the room, her laptop screen starting to glitching out. A word of 'So it was you?' Start to appear in her screen for a minute before it completely shut off.

The girl come back to her room with a glass of water in her hand. She immediately noticed the black screen on her laptop and immediately rushed to it and put the glass beside the laptop. "Did I shut it off..?" The girl murmured to herself before shaking her head. "No, I'm sure the laptop is still running when I left it..could it be the battery has run dry?"

Her hand grabbed the charger and plugged it in before she pushed the button to start her laptop but it still didn't budge. The screen still pitch black, causing the girl to sighed. 'Well..let's wait for a while.' She thought. She take her glass and take a sip of the water. She's still confused though. She sure the battery is half full earlier. 'How could it run out so fast like this?' She pondered.

Bing!

The screen finally lit up, causing the girl to look at it. However nothing came, there's no her (favorite character) wallpaper. Only a blank screen stared back at her. The girl let out a sigh. 'Great, now I have to fix this laptop tomorrow.' She thought with a huff.

Without any warning, her screen started to glitching out. The girl widened her eyes when a blinding light come from it, illuminating the whole room. She shielded her eyes from the bright light. "DAFUQ IS GOING ON?!" She hissed before the light take over her vision.

As the light died, the girl is nowhere to be seen. Her laptop is on there, laying still. Suddenly, the keyboard clicked on themselves, slowly forming a word on the blank screen.
