Rafael stares at Hope as she lays on his bed before turning to Landon, who's laying on his. He sighs as the door opens. In walks Josie and the twins. "Hey, how are they?" She asks as she goes to sit next to her wife. "About the same, unfortunately." Rafael sighs. The twins glance at Landon and back at their mom.
"Grandpa's called a meeting." Marshall tells him. Rafael nods and walks out with them. Josie stays behind and kisses Hope on the forehead. "I promise we're trying everything we can." She whispers before walking out and joining everyone downstairs. Alaric starts his speak about pulling through and sticking together. Halfway through, Alyssa clears her throat and stands up. "Sorry, just for clarification, does our community include your daughter, who murdered me and held the entire school hostage to stage a grotesque display of black magic power? Not to mention, put her own wife to sleep?" Josie stares at the ground as everyone stares at Alyssa, some glance at Josie before realizing the twins were giving them all death glares, causing them to all stop. "Josie is back to normal, and safe." Alaric tells her. "Thanks to Hope, who I'm noticing isn't here at the ass crack of dawn like the rest of us. So much for unity, I guess. What happened? Did she divorce you?" She asks Josie directly. Andrea stands before Marshall grabs her hand and pulls her down. He shakes his head at her.
"Hope, I'm sure you all can understand, was hit hard by what happened to Landon, and she's just taking some time to herself. I'm sure you can all understand losing someone close to you like a family member or a best friend." Wade stands with his hand raised. "Speaking of, how is my boy Landon?" He asks. "Getting Landon back is my top priority, and I won't stop until I do. And that would go for any one of you." Kaleb stands after. "Ok, so what are we supposed to do now? And why are we all wearing gym clothes?" He asks as he looks around. "Something you haven't had a chance to do in far too long, be kids. I want you to remember what it's like to not have to worry about something you shouldn't have to and grow closer together in the process. Now, before you ask me how...." Alaric addresses MG.
MG stands with a clipboard in hand. "As president of the Student Activities Committee, I'd like to welcome you all to the first ever, Salvatore School Field Day. The buses are waiting for you outside. Don't forget to bring your smiles." Both set of twins glance at each other. "Dear God, no." Marshall shakes his head. "Twins." Josie whispers. "What?" Andrea looks at her. Everyone applauds and stands to board the buses. The twins go and help Josie grab some equipment from the gym. As they walk down the hall, they turn the corner to see their aunt and grandpa talking. "Lizzie?" Josie calls to her before tripping over her shoelaces. The twins quickly catch all the balls and look down to see her shoelaces tied around each other. As students laugh, their eyes turn yellow. "Alright! Who did that?! Huh?!" Marshall shouts as he looks around. The students suddenly go quiet. "What's wrong? Huh? Feel up to the challenge when you're picking on our Ma, but not up to facing one of us? What's a matter? Worried we'll rip your head off? Or maybe your heart? If you had one!" Everyone scurries off before the twins actually commit to what they're saying. They growl at everyone that passes them before helping their Ma. "Thanks kids." Josie sighs. Alyssa comes up behind them with her group. "Oh, careful witches. Don't let them catch you laughing or they might snap. Your necks, that is. It was bad enough with one dark witch, we don't need three." The girls behind her giggle before walking away. "On second thought, let the games begin." Lizzie tells Alaric.
"Alright then." Alaric nods and walks off. On the way, he bumps into Rafael. "Hey, Dr. S, has Landon woken up yet?" He asks him. "Um, no. But there's one more thing...." He whispered before leading him to where Hope and Landon are resting. "Hope is down too." "What do you think is wrong with her?" Rafael looks at Hope laying down. "The necromancer must have used black magic to take her out." Rafael shakes his head. "Wait, I thought that the spell that you did to bring all of us back was unbreakable." "Yeah, I don't know how he got around it. But I know how to find out." Alaric walks out of the room. "Where you going?" "To force some answers out of that pompous ass." Rafael quickly follows him out as he grabs his crossbow and tries stopping him from going. The front door suddenly bursts open as the Necromancer seems to be struggling with something or someone?
