Time to give it a place

Y/N POV

You were woken up by a hand brushing softly over your cheek. "Morning sunshine."  A small smile made it's way on your face and you spoke up."George? What are you doing h-" You  asked as you opened your eyes, but before you could finish your sentence, you were too stunned to speak.

"It's not George love." He said with a sweet smile as he brushed a strand of  hair out of your face. "C-Cedric? What? How?-" You said as your eyes started to sting. He just shot you a small smile and cupped your cheek.

"You're dreaming, I'm still gone Y/N." He said as he wiped a tear away with his thumb. "Ced I'm so- I'm so sorry. I wish I could've done something. I -I should've-" "Ssst, it's okay. I'm okay. Really." He said in a calm voice.

"Don't you ever dare to blame yourself for this. Even if you were there, there wasn't anything you could've done. Okay?" He said with a broken smile and another tear rolled down your cheek.

"Please don't cry darling." He said as he threw his arms around you. You wrapped your arms tightly around his neck and cried into his shoulder. "I just miss you so much." You got out between cries. "I know, I miss you too Y/N/N." He said in a whisper as his hand was tracing paterns on your back.

He than pulled away and cupped your face."Remember the night before the last Tournament?"  You nodded as you thought back to your last real moment together. "I meant what I said that night you know. You're the most amazing girl I've ever met, and you have no idea how lucky I was to call you my friend." He said with a sweet smile as a tear rolled down his cheek.

You pulled him into another hug and a few more tears started to flow. "I love you too Ced." You whispered against his shoulder."

Remus POV

He was woken up by someone tossing and mumbling something. As he opened his eyes, he realised the three of them fell asleep during the movie night. "No- Cedric.." He heard Y/N mumble in her sleep. "Ced, I-I'm so sorry.." She said again and she started to toss and turn some more. Remus started to grow a little worried as he realised that she was having a nightmare.

"Pumpkin?" He said through a whisper as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Cedric.." She said once more and started to cry. "Y/N! Pumpkin please wake up!" He said and started to shake her a little. She than finally opened her eyes.

She shot up and threw her arms around him. "Pumpkin it's okay.." He whispered while softly caressing her back. "It-It was Cedric" She said through tears, it broke his heart seeing his daughter like this. "It's okay Pumpkin, it was just a dream." He whispered again and her grip on Remus got tighter, like she was afraid he was going to dissapear.

At that moment Sirius made his way into the room. "Breakfast is ready-" He said with a cheery voice, but his mood quickly dropped when he saw Y/N crying. He ran over to the two of them and sat on the ground in front of you. "What happened my darling?" He asked as he carfully placed his hand on her arm.

She than finally pulled away, and wiped the tears off her face. "I-." She started. "It's okay darling, take a deep breath." Sirius said as he softy squeezed her arm. "I had a dream about Cedric." She said as she avoided our gaze. "Your friend? The one that passed away?" He asked with a carful voice and she nodded as another tear rolled down her cheek. "Oh my darling girl." He said as he threw his arms around her.

"It just- it all seemed so real. It was like he was really here." She said with a broken voice. "Ssstt it's okay." Sirius said as he tried to comfort her. While he did that, Remus quickly got up and made his way over to the kitchen.

He looked through the cabinets and grabbed some chocolate bars. He than made his way back over to the two of them and sat  himself down. "Here, it'll lift your mood pumpkin." He said with a small smile on his lips. "Thanks dad." "Is there anything you need? Anything we can get you, at all?" Sirius asked in a pleading voice, as his heart broke too, seeing his only daughter like this.
