Chapter 1: Roy the Boxturtle
Why is it that this stupid turtle pees on the one spot I don't have newspaper? I thought to myself as I cleaned out Roy's cage. I didn't even know this sent was possible on a waterbuffalo neverless a dumb turtle. Roy was my boxturtle that my parents gave me when I was eight. Apperantly they live until fifty so he can be my best man at my wedding. I got up from cleaning out Roys cage and looked around my room. There were about six boxs pilled in a broken pyramid form by the door, a bare bed, two backpacks and a small turtle cage. I took a deep breath in and held it until I figured it was unhelthy to hold that long and slowly exhaled. I didn't hear my breath flow out because all I could hear was my heart pumping blood throughut my body. I was going to the airport in one hour and all I could think about was all the things that probably were never going to happen but you never know if the pilot had three bottles of rum before getting on the plane.
"GRIFFON PARKER SMITH, IF I HAVE TO CALL YOUR NAME ONE MORE TIME THEN I SWEAR TO GOD IM GOING TO TAKE THA TURTLE AND-"
"Alright! I get it, I'm coming." I yell back to my mother as I snatch my stuff from the floor and start bringing it down. "You know mom, you could do whatever the heck you want with that turtle. I could care less." That really wasnt true in the slightest. I always pretended that I hate the turtle my parents got me, but to be honest, he is kind of my only best friend as sad and depressing as that sounds.
**** So I just wanted a parargraph for the irst chapter (Dont worry they will never be near this short again) I was just wanting you guys to see kind of the idea of it but ya I really cant wait to get started on this. Super excited and hope you guys are also. Love ya love's.****
