A poem, a confession (Hu Tao x yanfei)

"Huuuuuu". A sound echoed through the empty funeral parlour. Nobody was there, except for 2 girls. "Quit it you walnut" Yanfei sighed, as she rummaged through a shelf of books near Hu Tao's room. "Aw, come on Fei~! I'm only messing around" Hu Tao pouted, and sat down next to Yanfei, leaning on her shoulder. Yanfei sighs, and continues sorting the books. "These are really dusty, have you ever even read them?" Yanfei wipes the dust off the books on the top shelf, the books about law. "Nahh, only poetry books are interesting to me" Hu Tao yawns, and stands back up. "I'll get us some drinks!" She says, as she skipped out of the funeral parlour. "Jeez.." Yanfei sighs, as she continues sorting out Hu Tao's books. After 10 minutes, she moved on to the next section. "Huh? What's this?" Yanfei picked up a novel. "Romantic...poetry?" She tilted her head as she scrolled through the pages. As she did so, a piece of folded paper fell out. As she unfolded the paper, it was snatched from her hands. "You don't need to see that" Hu Tao smiled and sweatdropped, as she placed the drinks down and held the paper. "Why not?" Yanfei said, trying to snatch the paper back. "Because~!" Hu Tao teases. After trying to reach for the paper, Hu Tao and Yanfei tripped on a book, and fell to the ground. Hu Tao had her arm stretched out holding the paper away from Yanfei, who was now lying directly above Hu Tao. They both flushed red, and Yanfei sat up. "Ah- sorry! I didn't mean to-" she began, but then took the paper from Hu Tao's hand. As she opened it, she read it out loud. "Hair is pink, eyes are blue. I can not express my love for you. The way you smile so happily. Yanfei, will you go out with me?". There was a long pause. Hu Tao and Yanfei's faces flushed with a deep red. "Haha.." Hu Tao smiled, as she sat up. "Hu Tao.." Yanfei said as she knelt down beside her. Hu Tao sighed, but was stopped when she felt something against her lips. Yanfei gently pressed her lips against Hu Tao's, and kissed her. "I will. I'll go out with you, walnut" She said with a flustered smile. Hu Tao smiled and kissed her back. "Jeez, I wasn't expecting you to see that so soon," Hu Tao laughed, as she placed her head into Yanfei's lap, and closed her eyes.
