Eula takes a couple steps back, and then begins to slowly walk towards Amber, now somehow a seductive air about her. She raises her left arm into the air and motions at Amber, who slowly puts her own hand into Eula's hand, as Eula grasps her by the waist. "Now raise your left foot and circle it around me," whispers Eula, as Amber obeys, shaking a little bit.
Then, Eula takes ahold of her and starts to spin effortlessly, bending Amber in several different directions, before crossing her leg in between of Amber's. Amber glances at the Spindrift Knight, who's panting as her face is completely flushed. She spins the girl away from her and then back again, putting Amber and Eula's faces concerningly close to each other.
They continue in this fashion, until Eula pauses and they complete the dance in sync. "For a beginner, you're actually pretty good," comments Eula. "Thank you," mumbles Amber, blushing.
"If you want, we can continue... whatever this is everytime I go dancing?" ponders Eula, her hand still around Amber's waist. "YES! I mean, yeah, sure," exclaims Amber, trying to desperately regain her composure.
"Pfft. You're so cute. I do love you, Amber," says Eula, before lightly pecking the Outrider on the lips, giggling, before realizing what she just did.
"Oh-Ohmygod. I'm so sorry," mumbles Eula, before escaping into the woods. "Eula!" exclaims Amber, but there was no trace of the Spindrift Knight, the night acting as a cloak to hide Eula.
Amber sits down, defeated but excited, her face completely crimson as she holds her cheeks and squeals. "Eula kissed me. Eula... kissed me! WHOO!" she chuckles, dancing around delightedly. She puts on her goggles and runs back to the bridge connecting the woods and Mondstadt. The whole time, an exhilarating new feeling rushed through her.
Once she's back in Mondstadt, she heads right to bed. It's incredibly late, but for once, Amber doesn't care, as she falls asleep, dreaming of the kiss.
Eula, on the other hand wasn't quite so calm about the situation. She had raced home and slammed the door so loudly that Bertha was awoken and came rushing to the door, thinking there was an intruder.
"Who is- Oh, Eula, you good?" asks Bertha, confused. "Do I look good to you, Bertha?!" pants Eula, collapsed on the floor. "Sort of? I mean, you look very tired but you're blushing. Quite a lot, I must say. You sure you don't have a cold or something?" ponders Bertha, as she helps Eula get up.
Eula doesn't respond, but instead turns even redder. "Oho~ Did you make a little move or two on our Outrider?" smirks Bertha. "I- No!" exclaims Eula. "Of course. Then whatever could make you blush so much, hmm?" asks Bertha. "Why the fuck do you know me goddamn well, Bertha..." sighs Eula, exasperated.
"So you did make a move?" questions Bertha. "Uuuuuuuu... I may or may not have... you know, done something like uhm, just a little kiss on the lip?" whispers Eula.
Bertha makes an obscene gasp, causing Eula to gawk at her friend acting this way. "What, what?" repeats Eula, concerned. "Aren't you forward! Now shut up, I'm tired as fuck and I'm off to sleep. She likes you back, chill," says Bertha, rolling her eyes as she leaves the room. "Bertha!" yells Eula, but her maid isn't having any of it and doesn't respond.
The Spindrift Knight retreats to her room, and sleep doesn't come easily to her for once. She lies awake for a while, thinking of any and every possible way out of this situation.
The next morning, things seem normal at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters until Jean notices it's past 12 and Eula hasn't even checked in for the day. She decides to ask the Knight closest to her, Amber.
"Hey Amber, Jean's asked for you," says Noelle. "Thanks for telling me, Noelle!" replies Amber, before running to the Grandmaster's room. "Ah, Outrider Amber. Thank you for your haste. I just need to ask, have you seen Eula today?" asks Jean.
"Um, no?" chuckles Amber. "Quite strange of the Spindrift Knight to not have taken attendance by now. Would you mind going out to search for her?" questions Jean. "Of course. I'll report back once I'm done!" shouts Amber, leaving the room.
She snaps on her toolkit to her brown belt, before racing to the top of the building and gliding to all the possible places Eula could be. She decides to check in at her home first. She knocks at the door and Bertha peeks her head out. "Ah, Amber. Sorry, Eula's fallen a bit sick. Do you mind telling Grandmaster Jean she won't be in for today?" asks Bertha. "Uh, sure!" giggles Amber awkwardly, before running off.
Amber informs Jean of the matter, to which the Grandmaster thanks her for investigating, and Amber leaves, still surprised.
Could Eula be... avoiding me?
Much to Amber's surprise, that would be the occurrences of the next few days.
She'd see Eula the very next day, and waved to the Spindrift Knight, but Eula simply ticked the box stating that she was present and escaped, not even making eye contact, and ignoring Amber calling out her name.
Yet again, the next day it was even worse, for Eula had woken early and had signed in hours earlier.
Over and over and over, Eula avoided the Outrider like the plague. Amber decided she had enough of this behavior and wanted to do something about it.
Finally, Amber decided to wake up super early and come to the Knights of Favonius Headquarters when dawn broke, which was around 5:30AM. She sat, slumped over at the staircase for hours, trying to desperately stay awake. About an hour later, Jean showed up, shocked at seeing the brunette on the staircase.
"Amber...?" asks Jean, tipping her jaw up. "Ah, ahaha, Grand-Grandmaster Jeeaann, it's youuuu," slurs Amber, half - asleep. "Want to come inside for a cup of hot chocolate?" Jean asks, to which the girl aggressively nods her head.
