Smiling even when you're sad

I've had a fake smile for so long, I don't even know if it's real or not anymore. 

Author's POV

Many people always wonder if Cheshires can feel anything other than happiness, but they are always smiling that it made the society conclude that they can't feel anything other than happiness but that is not true, Cheshires are capable of feeling emotions other than happiness but their so-called grin prevents them from expressing their emotions, it has been said that sometimes people smile to hide their pain well that's true for Cheshire cats, not many people knew that Cheshires cause chaos not because they want to but because it's in their instinct and with them causing chaos it causes others to avoid them making it hard for them to socialize and make friends. Deku can probably tell you how many people who promised to stay by his side avoided him like a plague once his quirk has come out... He and his mother can tell you the number of people leaving them behind all because of something they can't control this includes Izuku's father who left them causing his mother Inko to raise the child by herself luckily the Midoriyas are humans with Cheshire cat quirk meaning their lifespan initially starts similar of that of a normal cat eventually however their lifespan will eventually become a human lifespan after a few weeks (kittens IRL are born slightly underdeveloped, their eyes are closed and their ears are folded making them useless but after a few weeks their senses are already developed).

There's a reason why Cheshires smile and unfortunately is a lot sadder than you may think, they smile because they want to hide their pain but a fake smile can only go for so long eventually the smile will fade  

Izuku's POV

After Nezu gave me a tour of the campus, he gave me my uniforms, my schedule and even ask me if I am willing to make the security since he quote "Have the perfect skills and tricks for it" of course I agreed then sent me on my way, after leaving the school I used my book called "Finding the Wondrous well" to find my home, if you're asking as to why I need a book that acts as a map to find my home well mainly for one reason the well is mad it never stays in one spot for more than a few minutes so most of the time I need to teleport but this time I only need to run because according to the map its just next to UA's gate and I only have 15 seconds before it teleports away so will all my might I ran towards the well and jump with 3 seconds to spare as soon as I landed on my feet of course I just laughed if you listen to my laughter you can sense pain that's the problem with us cheshires, we always smile even when we're in pain we feel emotions but its always being expressed through smiling, All Might always say that those who smile are the strongest which is true people who learns to smile through are always strong but then if you kept doing a fake smile you'll eventually get carried away that you will lose the ability to tell the different of what's happiness and what's hurting, I just smiled even though I'm feeling upset that this so called quirk that sometimes make people wish they have it, oh if only they knew the consequences of always grinning everytime then they would take back their words after all no matter how I wanted to express my expressions like crying it will always end with a smile which never fails to frustrate me sometimes I wish I can cry I wish I can express my emotions to others without them having to notice the tone of my voice, eventually I went down under to go to my favorite place Wonderland I really hope school is not in session even though it only happens once a year I don't feel like going to school twice in a row now (In My AU Schools in Wonderland only happens once a year) I can't wait but to visit my childhood friends Amia (Pronounce as Am-ya), Tea (Pronounce as Tia), Hoppy and Alex my only friends who stayed by me and doesn't mind me always smiling which is not surprising since they are very weird for example Amia daughter of the Queen of Hearts herself always yells Off with your head even when she wants to say thank you, Hoppy son of the White rabbit can shapeshift into bunnies but is always having luck with time, and is always calm in every situation, Tea always wanting a tea party at every turn, Alex son of Alice always expects a mystery everywhere and sometimes will give illogical conclusions when the mystery presents itself. Going to Wonderland after having a bad day or simply being frustrated always calms me down after all I can never get tired of the wonders that lie in Wonderland
