Hunter x Hunter Oneshots and Incorrect Quotes

Hey, everyone! Recently, someone requested I write a oneshot with a reader designed to be Killua's older sister to make a Kurapika x Reader story. However, my friend inspired me to put a spin on that: you know how little girls sometimes have little crushes on prince-like characters or people? That is what I decided to do with this one-shot - so basically, this is if Alluka had a little kid crush on Kurapika. Hope you guys enjoy it!

NOTE: THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ALLUKA X KURAPIKA. IT'S JUST A CUTE THING LITTLE KIDS DO.

"Big brother, when are we gonna see Gon again?" Alluka whined, her legs growing tired from walking for a while.

Killua chuckled as he offered his sister a piggyback ride. "Not much longer, sis. We're almost there!"

"Yay!" she cried with eagerness. "Who else did you say was going to be there, big brother?"

"My friends Kurapika and Leorio," Killua responded happily.

It's true - Killua, Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio were finally going to be able to meet again. It had been a while since all of them had been together, and they all decided that today was a good day to meet up. Killua asked if he could bring Alluka, and of course, his friends didn't hesitate to agree to the idea.

Alluka didn't know any of Killua's friends but Gon, and she wasn't sure how to feel about meeting new people. Considering she was locked deep in the Zoldyck household for most of her life, she didn't have very good social skills. Although Killua convinced her everything would be alright and his friends were nice, she couldn't help but feel a little anxious.

The designated place of meeting was a park outside the Hunter Association building since Kurapika and Leorio were already working there. Killua and Alluka were staying at a nearby hotel, and Gon was coming from Whale Island after visiting there with Ging. (Of course, Gon dragged Ging there against his will. His father was not looking forward to facing Mito after all these years.)

Approaching the park entrance, Killua spotted Leorio sitting on a bench under a tree.

"Leorio!" the white-haired boy called out to his tall friend.

Leorio's head shot up at the sound of the familiar voice. Spotting Killua approaching him, his eyes lit up with happiness.

"Killua!" He ran and gave the boy a bone-crushing hug as Killua struggled to escape it. "It's been too long, buddy!"

After Leorio finally let go, Killua was able to catch his breath. "Yeah, sure," he sighed.

Leorio knelt down to Alluka's height. "And you must be Alluka, Killua's sister." He extended his hand out for her to shake.

She stared at his hand, hesitating to shake it. She looked to Killua, who nodded to assure her she would be alright. She gently grabbed and shook Leorio's hand, her fingers so tiny in comparison to his. Killua couldn't help but smile, and neither could Leorio.

"Killua, your sister's so cute!" he gushed. Alluka giggled.

Killua grinned and placed his hands behind his head. "Yeah, she's pretty great. I don't know what I would do without her."

Alluka grinned from ear to ear and rushed to give her brother a hug. "I love you, big brother!"

Killua patted her head, though he was embarrassed. "I love you too," he mumbled.

A few moments later, Gon showed up to join them. Leorio greeted him the same way he greeted Killua - a giant bear hug. Once he was put down, Gon rushed over and hugged Killua tightly. Killua seemed annoyed he was getting so many hugs, but deep down inside he enjoyed it.

"Gon!" Alluka exclaimed. She wrapped her arms around the spiky-haired boy. He reciprocated the hug. "I missed you! And so did Killua!"

"H-hey!" Killua scolded, causing Gon to chuckle.

The four hung out for a while, catching up and sharing stories of their most recent adventures. Leorio informed them that Kurapika would be a little late because he was finishing up some paperwork, which made Alluka slightly upset. She wanted to meet him already!

"Mr. Leorio, what's Kurapika like?" Alluka inquired. "You work with him, right?"

Leorio wasn't expecting such a question but was quick to answer. "Well, sure, he's my best buddy! Uh, let's see... he's a really hard worker! Though, sometimes, he works too hard. But he's super reliable and responsible. When he gets angry he's pretty scary, but it's pretty rare for him to get super worked up. At least, as of late."

Alluka listened with curiosity, while Killua and Gon started a conversation of their own behind them. Hearing all these awesome qualities of Kurapika, she grew even more eager to meet him. Though, like before arriving and meeting Leorio, she was still a little nervous.

Finally, Kurapika arrived. He scanned the park for a moment before locating his friends, but it appeared they had spotted him first. Gon, Leorio, and Killua rushed to meet their friend. However, Alluka was suddenly unable to move, her eyes glued to Kurapika - his long blond hair blowing in the wind, as well as his red jewel earrings. His big gray eyes filled with joy at the sight of his friends. Altogether, he looked like a prince straight out of a fairy tale.

Gon grabbed Kurapika's hand and dragged him over to where they all were before. Kurapika knelt down to Alluka's height.

"Hello, Alluka," he greeted. "I've heard a lot about you. It's nice to finally meet you."

Alluka stared at him, stars in her eyes. All she could think to say was, "Are you a prince, mister?"

Kurapika was taken aback by the strange question. He chuckled and responded, "No, I am not. But thank you for your kind words." He smiled sweetly. As he stood up, Alluka's eyes were still trained on him.

The entire afternoon of chatting, she sat close to Kurapika and only wanted to talk to him. Kurapika had never interacted with kids much before, so he wasn't sure how to react to such attention. Killua attempted many times to distract Alluka from Kurapika, but to no avail.

"Mr. Kurapika, Mr. Leorio said you're a Hunter. What kind of Hunter are you?"

"I'm a Blacklist Hunter," he responded in hopes she wouldn't ask what that was.

"That's so cool," she said dreamily. As she continued to stare at him, Kurapika awkwardly laughed.

Killua sighed. "Alluka, quit bothering him. Why don't you come to play tag with me and Gon?"

Alluka huffed. "No! I wanna stay here with Kurapika."

Gon stepped up next to Killua. "Are you sure, Alluka? I think Kurapika wants to talk to Leorio."

Kurapika chuckled. "It's alright, she's not bothering me. She's very sweet."

Alluka grinned. "See?"

Gon laughed while Killua rolled his eyes. "Alright, just let me know if she gets to be too much."

At the end of the day, Alluka was so attached to Kurapika to the point where Killua had to drag her away when they had to leave. Alluka began to cry as her brother carried her over his shoulder.

"No, I don't want to leave him!" she exclaimed with tears in her eyes. Killua sighed in exasperation.

Kurapika came up and patted her head. "It's alright, Alluka. We can meet up again soon, okay?"

Alluka sniffled. "Pinky promise?"

He gave a sweet smile. "Pinky promise."

The two of them linked pinky fingers, and Alluka added the kiss part that she learned from Gon; "And seal it with a kiss!" Kurapika had not done this form of pinky promise before, but he did as Alluka did and pressed his thumb against hers.

Until their next meeting, Alluka promised herself she wouldn't forget the scarlet prince.
