Chapter One 💋

It was February 28th. 2 am. I couldn't think straight. My parents had just divorced last month and i was already moving in to a new house w. my mom. Anyways, i wasn't going to go to sleep anytime soon so i just put in my earphones and called my friend Kayle. I knew she would be asleep but she was probably the only friend of mine who would wake up to answer a call , from me, at 2 in the morning . "Hello?", Kayle answered after like 10 billion times the phone rung . She sounded tired, of course . "Im having a really shitty night" i replied to the phone. "Ughh whats going on this time. Im really tired" Kayle groaned . "I cant sleep. I just feel weird in a new house , alone w. my mom. It feels so empty without my dad and i just miss him. My mom wont even let me see him until next month, and only once a week. Ughhh" i said. Kayle replied , " i know i know . Just don't think about it. Can i talk to you tomorrow about it? Im really tired . Just grab some food and go to sleep". She hung up before i could say bye. I guess she was right, to just not overthink it. I turned my music on and slowly fell asleep, through tears and worries , but i finally fell asleep.
