I walk around at night. The full moon lighting my way I look for HQ. I find the a huge oak tree in the middle of the woods. This is it, I thought looking at the star shaped glyph on the trunk. This is were I'm gonna become a creature of the night. I touched the glyph with my pointer and middle finger like they told me to do and said an encantation. "Relino mistixn jenolik." The glyph started to glow a black that was darker than the dark of night.
Suddenly the tree opened revealing a small passage was that went down in the ground. I started to step inside but my cloak got caught on a branch. I unhooked my cloak and stepped inside. The door closed behind me and I looked behind me, no turning back now. I thought to myself and kept walking town the steps.
I reached the bottom of the stairs and kept walking and I soon reached a black obsidian door. I stood in front of it and waited like I was told to. The door swung open revealing a round table that was hollow on the center and gap for someone to walk threw. The main vampire stood and was the farthest from the door.
"Welcome Little One." He said holding his arms out his voice warm and kind but showed great leadership. "Come and stand in the circle."
I started to walk toward the table and in the center of the gap there was a ring on the floor that was glowing that same black as the glyph on the tree. I stepped in the center of the circle and looked at the main vampire. He looked at me and I looked around the room. There were a lot more vampires than just around the table. And they were all watching me. I looked back at the main vampire. He looked around the room, "My brothers, my sisters of the four tribes. We are here because we are welcoming a new member to our family. She has been chosen to become one in blood with us. It is rarely that we find one as strong as it will take to become one of us." He paused to let everyone, every vampire soak in what he had just said. "But before we can carry on we must find whether she is a Litherborne," at the name a group of vampires gave one stomp of the foot, " a Krithner," another group let out a single yell, "a Bloodthreth," the group let out a loud echoing clap, "and the one were few vampire ever come into the, Nemmesitys," that group simply nodded their heads toward me. There were only five of them.
The main vampire was silent for what seemed like an eternity, then he finally spoke, "place your hand in front of you palm up." I complied and did as he told me. All of a sudden he was in front of me and I flinched slightly, he grabbed my hand and pulled a knife out from his cloak. With one simple swift movement he sliced my palm open and appeared in front of his chair again. The blood started pooling in my hand. "Now Little One tip your hand over and poor it into the floor." I did as he asked and as soon as I did the circle glyph glowed bright crimson causing me to go blind for a slight moment.
Everyone gasped, and I looked around confused. The main vampire looked at me and gave a small smile, "Nemmesity." He said just loud enough for every one to hear. Wait I got the most rare clan? How? "May the leader of the Nemmesity clan come up." On of the men from the table stood up and bowed his head to the main vampire, then looked at me. "Nistel you know what to do." The main vampire said sitting down.
Before I could even take a breath the vampire Nistel was in front of me. "Hold still." He whispered. Then he was at my throat drinking my life force, my blood. I got dizzy, then weak, and if Nistel wasn't there to hold me up I would have collapsed to my knees. He pulled away and looked at my eyes licking the blood from corner of his mouth. He backed away and let me go and I fell to my knees. I wanted to just fall the rest of the way and layed down but I didn't. Nistel backed up just until he was standing outside of the circle and right when he did I went into agonizing pain. I let out a small moan. But I liked more like loved the the felling it gave me.
It started from my neck and went all threw my body. I clenched my hands together. It felt like I was dieing. What if I was dieing, but soon after the pain stopped and I gasped for air. I looked up and saw everyone looking at me. "It is done! She is now one of us! Come sister stand and take off your hood! Show us who you are!" The main vampire yelled. I stood and pulled my hood down. My hair had turned a dark black and wasn't its normal red, my skin was paler too.
"Welcome our sister, Midnight." My name wasn't Midnight, mabey it was my new vampire name. Every vampire, everyone yelled and hollered at the top of their lungs except the Nemmesitys and the main vampire. Soon every clan left except mine and I was told to stay and talk to the main vampire.
I stood in front of the main vampire. "Hello Midnight. My name is Killten." The main vampire said.
"Hello." I replied.
He smiled. And waved over to another vampire. "You look hungry Midnight. I suppose its time for you first feeding." The vampire he waved to brought a person, a man who looked like he was in his twenty's. My stomach growled, my throat was dry like I hadn't had anything to drink in months. Nistel came up ad whispered in my ear, "go on he's yours. Just don't kill him. He is to become your human slave." I nodded.
Killten said calmly, "go now fledgling."
I walked up to the man and grabbed his chin and moved it so it was facing to the right. If I were still human this would be wrong, but now it felt right. Killten urged me, "go on little one." My fangs elongated and I bit the mans throat and he shivered when I did. I drank and when is heart started to slow I stopped drinking and pulled away. The sweet crimson taste still strong on my tounge.
"I'm surprised little one. We normally would have to have pulled the fledgling away before you killed him." Killten said. "Nistel take her to her the clan lair before the sun rises.
Nistel looked at me, " tell your slave to follow. I did and Nistel continued speaking. "Follow me." He lead me out and around the woods to a huge stone that had a different glyph on it. He said a different incantation that the one I used to open the tree and I couldn't remember what it was. He lead me I and it closed after my human slave came in.
Nistel showed me one room, "this room is for him." He said pointing at my human slave. I told him to stay in the room unless I needed him. Then Nistel showed me another. "This is yours." He opened the door and I walked in. I turned around to say thank you but he was gone. I went back into my room and closed the door. It was dark no windows and I understood that and in it was coffen which I wasn't surprised by and a dresser.
I took of my cloak and I was wearing a black tee and black leggings. I opened the coffen and it has red silk in it and was padded. I stepped in is and it was pretty cozzy. I closed the lid and fell asleep easily.
