On December 8, 2014 Cube announced that they would debut a multi-national girl group next year and announced that one of the members of the group was Sorn. The 13th of March the group launched their official Twitter and Facebook and released the teaser images of each member. It was announced that the title track was called Pepe and that they would debut the 19th of March. On the 16th they released the video teaser for Pepe. The first time the group revealed the title track Pepe and one of the tracks of the album First Love was at their debut showcase on the 18th of the same month in the Acts Hotel in Seoul. The MV and album First Love were finally released the 19th of March and they debuted the same day on Mnet's M! Countdown. It was revealed that Rain had created the point choreography of the dance for Pepe.
