In contrast to what people think, Xiaojun wasn't a kill joy. Sure he was serious most of the time but that was because he kept on hanging out with kun. The older's boring attitude started to rub off him.

He had to credit hendery for keeping him company and flirt with him. Of course, he wouldn't admit that out loud, especially around jaemin and hendery.

Speaking of jaemin, he wondered if the bunny was awake. It was past eight, Jaemin usually wakes up at four if there was an event since the rabbit was always anxious when it came to presentations. But, there's a but, since his partnered with jeno, there was a good chance he would not set his alarm and just sleep in.

Feeling a weight on his shoulder, Xiaojun didn't have to look at the person who slung their arm over his shoulder. The voice said it all. With an eye roll, he shook the arm away before taking a fews steps farther from The person. ❝what do you want now, hendery? ❞

Xiaojun appreciates hendery. He really does but spending so much time with him made him start to question his own sanity. There were days (most of the days) that he would answer one of hendery's stupid and illogical questions like do fish breath water Or air?

Hendery just smiled, hooking their arms together. This was another thing between them. He would usually be bothered when people would do that but not to jaemin and hendery. Jaemin...

He whipped his head to the side, narrowing his eyes at hendery. ❝where's jaemin? ❞

❝jaems? ❞ hendery looked at him, eyes wide. ❝isn't he supposed to be with jeno? ❞

❝idiot❞ Xiaojun snarled, pulling his arm away to slap the back of hendery's head. ❝I thought we agreed you would walk jaemin to the park❞

❝but Dino boo❞ hendery pouted, rubbing the sore spot. ❝you would walk alone and I can't have that. What if you get hurt? It's dangerous to walk around here you know❞

❝but jaemin is in more danger than he's going to be with jeno! ❞ Xiaojun cried, ruffling his hair. ❝I-I just don't want him to get hurt❞

❝I do too boo but jaemin is a big kid. And you said it yourself, it's a good time that he tells jeno the truth❞ hendery started to nod his head like he was some scientist. ❝it's about time. I can't stand him whining about his feelings like dude, he doesn't have to go again and again how he still likes jeno even if he says he doesn't. I swear, he's worse than a broken record❞

❝don't dude me❞ Xiaojun clicked his tongue at the name. He preferred to be called Dino boo or something that has boo in the end. Of course, he wouldn't be saying that out loud. ❝ and I know that feeling. Between me and jaemin, I'm supposed to be the one who is still in love with their crush❞
