How to say; I love you (Chongyun x Xingqiu) ((contains angst))

A letter.  A message. A way to say 

I love you. (".. / .-.. --- ...- . / -.-- --- ..-)

A ruin, cold and damp. Abandoned, and lonely. "Xingqiu, are you sure it's in here?" Chongyun followed behind Xingqiu, carrying a torch to guide them. "This is what the map said, I'm sure it's here somewhere" Xingqiu looks around the ruins, and then flashes a reassuring smile back towards chongyun, who couldn't help but slightly blush. They neared a second corridor, guarded by a rusty gate. "I think it's through here, let's go" Xingqiu says as he pushes the gate, making a loud screeching sound. As they walked through the narrow corridor, it became wider. "I have a bad feeling about this.." Chongyun muttered to himself, as he saw the corridor leading into a large room. As they approached the room, a wall behind them shut, isolating them from where they entered. "Xingqiu, watch out!" Chongyun said, throwing the torch and running towards Xingqiu. "What's wrong?" Xingqiu said, turning around. Before he could move, he was slammed against the wall by a ruin guard. "I'm okay!" Xingqiu stood up, and ran closer to chongyun. As xingqiu drew his sword, chongyun freezed the ruin guard. As it unfroze, missiles fired into their direction.

After what felt like hours, the floor beneath them crumbled. "XINGQIU!" Chongyun shouted, reaching for Xingqiu. "CHONGYUN!" He screamed back, as they both fell deeper, and deeper beneath the surface. Wounded and bleeding, trapped in a room separated by a wall. "Xingqiu? Xingqiu!? Where are you!?" Chongyun yelled. There was no response, only the sound of crumbling rubble on the other side of the wall. "Chongyun, are you there?" Xingqiu finally replied, after breaking out of the rubble he fell into. "How do we get out of here? Are you hurt too badly?" Chongyun said, trying to find a way into the other side of the room. "I'm okay. I don't know, we should split up and search for a way and meet up somewhere" Xingqiu suggested. He was lying, his arms and legs were cut, and he was bleeding worse than chongyun. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Chongyun asked as he looked around. "Yeah..Wait, do you still have the piece of paper I gave you earlier?" Xingqiu asked, waiting for Chongyuns reply. "Yeah, why?" Chongyun asked, holding the piece of paper. "I need you to write something on it, but in morse code. It's on the paper" Xingqiu said, as he coughed a little blood. -I don't have enough energy to heal myself..this isn't good- he thought. "Okay. Let's split up then, I'll find you Xingqiu. I promise" Chongyun said after he finished reading Xingqiu's morse code message, and wrote his reply. "Right" Xingqiu said, as she limped out of the room, and into another corridor.

After walking for at least another hour, They approached the same corridor. "Xingqiu!?" Chonyun said as he turned the corridor, and ran towards the bleeding xingqiu. "Chong..yun.." Xingqiu smiled, as he collapsed onto the ground. "Xingqiu, talk to me..talk to me!" Chongyun panicked, as he held Xingqiu close to him. "I'm okay..I'm just exhausted" He said, as he looked into Chongyuns eyes. "Xingqiu, the letter," Chongyun said, holding the piece of paper. "Huh? What about it?" Xingqiu said, pretending to not remember. Xingqiu coughed, and Chongyun became more concerned. "We need to get out of here" He said, suppressing his urge to cry. Xingqiu placed his hand on Chongyuns cheek and smiled. "We'll get out of here, but we should rest a little first" He said, moving away and sitting against the wall. Chongyun followed, but sat in front of xingqiu, caressing his cheeks. He leaned in, and wiped the blood away, and then gently kissed him. "Chongyun..I love you" Xingqiu said, as he placed his head on Chongyun's chest. "Xingqiu, I love you too" He said, sitting against the wall. As they calmed down and relaxed, they both fell asleep.
