• I have a theory (based on my own experience) that sex hurts for vagina-havers who haven't had a dick up there because their vaginal muscles aren't used to it. Basically, it's muscle memory. Most people who have hymens (and not everyone is born with one) break them before they have sex (I broke mine horseback riding when I was eight, for example), and they are not an indication of virginity. Virginity is DIY; that is to say, it's the state of never having had what you consider sex to be for you personally, and not everyone has the same definition (lesbians aren't gonna have the same definition as straight people, now are they? Does that mean they're virgins? Of course not). Also, if there's blood the first time you have sex, you're doin' it wrong, and you need more lube.
