A short, simple man, wearing just a self-weaved muslin cloth, walked along the beach, waves kicking his feet every few seconds. His piercing brown-hazel eyes portrayed a mix of simplicity and non-violence, and held many wise answers to all problems. On them lay round glasses, which have inspired many people, such as Steve Jobs. This brave and courageous, yet kind man, declared himself a soldier, though a soldier of peace. His vision being that the world should stop using violence to solve problems. When he started his career, his attire was English, as he was a barrister. He wore a suit, a tie, and a properly-polished pair of shoes. Representing many poor people and their rights in court, he realized that one has to live like the people he is fighting for, so he changed his attire from a rich looking barrister to an ordinary looking poor man. He took it a step further by weaving his own clothes and not depending on British supplied garments. This was the man who provided India hope for a brighter future, by giving them a freedom from the British Empire. This was the man who left a mark on the world. This man was Gandhi.
