The crew had returned to the Chaos and were waiting for the Sirens to arrive. "I'm sorry, we couldn't stop them any longer." "You did your best," Ria replied. "And what do we do now?" asked Flint. "We can't compete against Zak alone, we need professional advice." "Where are we going to get it?" asked Cece.

Skullivar's Fortress

Zak and Bones knelt before Skullivar. "Please forgive me, my Master, for not being able to do it." "You have proven that you are worthy to carry this power without regard for losses." Bones looked at Zak darkly from the side. He was visibly offended. "Forgive me, Master, but why is this jellyfish not punished like we are when we fail?" Skullivar looked down on Bones. "Because this jellyfish has power that you wouldn't even begin to understand. Besides, you have disappointed me far too often, lost to a child." Bones was boiling with rage. Without Skullivar really noticing, Zak gave Bones a cheeky sideways grin. "Well, you wait, insect, I'll get you and then it's your turn!" murmured Bones.

The Chaos had left the portal to Blazz behind. "And you're sure they can really help us?" "They helped us once. They're friends and besides, they are the only beings in the world who understand power." They drove into the Parallel World. As soon as the portal closed, Chuka meandered to them. "Ria! I'm happy to see you - but why so depressed? And where is Zak Storm?" Ria swallowed. "Chuka, we have a lot to discuss."

----------

Shocked, the Sunbirds stared at Ria. "That can't possibly be true!" said Iteira. Ria shook her head. "If only it were so. Skullivar has control over Zak and thus over all the power. I don't know what to do anymore!" said Ria tearfully as she huddled on the floor. Chuka looked at her helplessly. Tutchka nudged him. "Well, there is someone who certainly knows what you could do." Ria stood up. "Really? Who?" "Chronos," Chuka said. Ria had not yet been able to sort this out properly. "Do you mean to tell me that we have to call Chronos?" Tutchka nodded.

The guards stood in a circle around Ria. "Touch the amulet and transfer your energy to that of Chronos." Ria didn't really know what she was doing, but she trusted Chuka. The Sunbirds transferred their powers to Ria and the clearing was brightly lit. When the light dimmed, the only true Chronos stood before them, if only as a ghost. "Who called me?" Ria stepped forward slowly. "That was me, your excellency." "Oh, please, call me Chronos! How can I help you, my child?" Ria kneaded her fingers. "The Chosen One has been dragged to the dark side, and we need your advice on what to do." Chronos looked at Ria seriously. "This will be the end of all of us!"
