Vague memories wandered like a car on the road in the mind of a tiny person. Dust to rise when you least expect it. The modern buildings were huge compared to our little lost one. Feet treading fearfully on lonely streets. One hand massaging the other as a child. Thick, gray clouds had begun to quickly cover the sky, which was once blue as blue flower. The thunder was loud, causing the little creature to scream a little in fear. He had found a corner where he sat. A thunderclap followed, making his fragile body tremble. They were loud, he was scared. Everything looked so big compared to him. Everything looked so beautiful compared to what he was wearing. The place was beautiful, and he was the wrong puzzle piece in this picture.
He looked around scared. He couldn't remember the way home, or if he had one. He felt lost, what he was. He wanted to be taken from that sad and scary place. Another thunder was heard. He put his hands to his ears, his legs closer to him.
Nearby, a bamboo rod and thousands of years of footsteps stepped back. He heard small sounds of fear. He looked in that direction, a tiny abandoned boy. He looked at him for a long time. He felt that he knew him, that he knew him from somewhere. He approached him slowly. The little one looked shocked, confused and a little scared of the old man approaching him. He got on his knees, looking the boy in the eye. Dark green forest eyes with a light gray gleam in them. Shoulder-like black hair and a personalized green to a strand of hair. His skin color was slightly light to brown, in some parts julped, wrinkled, and rarely torn. It reminded him too much of someone, too much that he really could be that person.
"What's your name, little one?" He asked gently.
The little one flinched a little. "I think... um.. Morro?"
The old man with the bamboo rod looked at the boy. 'Morro? To be really...? But how? And he's a child again. Destiny, what did you do?'
He knew it was cruel, if he was Morro, he had another chance at life, another chance for Wu to be his father from the beginning. Looking at him, he saw Morro again from the first day he met him: scared, tiny, curious, hungry, alone.. abandoned... Wu held out his open hand in front of the brunette who now had big eyes.
"I'm Wu, if you remember me." The boy just stared at him confused, trying to remember if he knew him or not. "Morro, I'd like you to come with me, what do you say?" He longed to hear a yes, he longed to start over, to correct his mistakes.
After a minute of waiting, one hand landed on top of another. Wu looked at the boy who was smiling at him childishly, taking his hand. The Master of Creation smiled back at him, knowing he had been given another chance.
The road was quiet and long. The storm that was to come was gone. Morro had begun to get used to the Master, feeling that he knew him from somewhere. Morro had begun to ask him questions, most of which had been answered. The boy asked him where they are going now. Wu smiled softly at him, knowing that this question had arisen a bunch before him. He had told him about the Monastery, how they had to climb some stairs to get to it. The boy thought he was talking about some innocent stairs, but when he saw how many there really were.. he was left speechless. After five minutes of climbing, the little boy's legs began to ache and get tired. Wu notices this.
"Do you want me to carry you upstairs?" He asked softly.
Morro nodded slowly in shame. Wu had taken the little one lightly in his arms. It wasn't hard, so it was easy for him to carry him up the stairs, even though he was old. Morro stared in amazement at how high they was, how beautiful the place looked, it was a magical place for him. Reaching the top, Wu did not let go of him, stepping carefully with his little one in his arms. In the middle of the living room, he had knocked three times with the bamboo staff on the wooden floor, shouting 'Ninja'. Morro looked at him confused, then saw people in colors appearing almost one after another in front of them. One of them had looked at Morro, pulling a sword from its scabbard, now aimed at him.
"Kai, put the sword aside, he's just a kid." Wu told him, disappointed by his student's reaction, but someone was even more disappointed than he was.
"You didn't tell me you had students and that someone else would live here!" Morro complained, his eyes wide and sad. "I thought it was just the two of us..."
"I'm sorry Morro that I didn't tell you, I didn't want to scare you." He looked at his students, who looked as if a ghost was in front of them. "Ninja, he is Morro."
"We can see that." Kai said firmly.
"Sensei," Zane had begun, taking a step forward. "How is Morro a child? How did he get here?"
"I don't know, and he doesn't know either. He can barely remember anything." He said, putting the little one down. Everyone was watching him. The little one had begun to feel even smaller than he already was. His gaze fell to the ground, feeling new emotions corrupt him.
One of them smiled at him, sitting at his level. In front of him was the black man, smiling.
"Hey Morro, I'm Cole."
"H-hello..." He didn't know if this new person would react like the first one.
"You're adorable for a former ghost and villain who tried to eliminate us." Cole said in a sunbeam voice.
Morro looked at him in terror. "What...?"
Cole had realized what he was saying, now looking at the little boy's frightened eyes. "Oh, my apologies." He stretched out his hands in front of him. "Can I?"
Morro looked at him for a moment, still, he shake his head. Cole took the little boy in his arms. It was so small and light, it reminded him of baby Wu or little Wu. Cole looked at his friends.
"We should take turns to get used to us and us to him." Everyone was looking at him now as if he had hit his head. "What?"
"Cole.. you realize he's Morro, don't you?" Jay said.
"Yes? But he's just a child now. And if Sensei Wu's words are true, his memory isn't intact. And he deserves a second chance, right? He's just a... small, lost child." He looked at the boy, then turned back to the rest. "So?"
Their leader had taken a few steps forward, looking at the former ghost. "You're right, he deserves a second chance at life. Cole, would you like to be the first?"
"Of course."
"It is settled then." He took one last look at the person who had possessed him a few years ago. He had made his way to the exit, followed by the red one.
Wu approaches Morro. "I have a little work to do now, but Cole will take care of you, you can trust him." With these words, he leaves too.
The brunette's head fell slowly on the shoulder of the Earth Master, who turned his attention to him.
"Did something happen?"
Morro sighed sadly. "Nobody likes me, do they?..."
"Whaaaat!? Sure they do! It's just... something new for them, for everyone." He smile at the little one. "Come on, there's some cake left in the fridge."
"Cake? What is a cake?"
Cole stopped walking, turning his head quickly to Morro. His eyes stared at him in shock. "DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT A CAKE IS!? IN WHAT WORLD COULD YOU LIVE IN LITTLE ONE?!"
