SONIA ON TOP

******************** "sonu!!!!!!!!! you've  grown  up " i  shreiked.

"i  know  i  look  hot . "she  teased me. sonia  came  and  hugged me ,"i  missed  your  face ,  Aaradhya. " she turned  and  then  greeted  my  parents . they  blessed  her. "uncle ,  aunt  long  time  no  see !!! " i  said .

"yes  , Dhiya . we  missed  you  too . you  are  tall  and  pretty........... " said  my  aunt.

"...........like a  young  little  lady ." finished  my  uncle. l  beamed  at  them .  they  are  cool  but  they  always  try  to  flatter  me so , i said "  no  compliments ." they  laughed  at  my  shyness  and  we  all  went  in. it  was  almost  like  our  home  but  with  more  designed  articles . sonia  and  i  went  to  her  room . it  was  pretty  but  a  typical  girlish  room.

"sonia ,  how  is  life  in  scotland ? " i  asked  .

"some say  life  is a  gift , others  think  it  is  a  adventure  but  from  what  i've  seen  life  is  a........... "she  continued  her  blabber   in  a  philosophical  tone.  i  could  not  control  myself  , i  smacked  her  and  rolled  my  eyes.

"...........owwww....idiot  Dhiya  i  was  just  giving  an  answer ."

"stupid  sonu , i  am  curious  tell  me  about  this  new  school. "

"well  it  is  a  fun  drama  filled  school  but  no  more  information "

"why not ?" i  asked  irritatedly .

"well  less  the  info  more  the  fun ." she  replied  cheerfully .

"fine.  then  i  will  ask  emma  duggan tomorrow ."i said  to  her  in  hopes  that  she  wouldn't  know  her .

" uh......how....do  you  know  her ?"

" she  is  my  maid 's  daughter and  she  will  come  to  visit  me  tommorrow . do  you  know  her ?" i  asked sonia .  cause  sonu  stuttering  is  a  surprise .

"well  she  is  a  senior . she  is  pretty  famous and  you  knowing  her  already  was  a  surprise" she  explained .  well  that  was  a  lame  excuse i  realized .  something else  is  there but  she  is  hiding  it  from  me .  never  mind , she  will  tell  me  when  she  is  ready. so  i  tried  to  change  the  subject .

" sonu !  i  can't  drive  properly you  know .  i  need  some  experience  in  that  so  could  you  drive  me  to  school  till  i  learn  properly ?"i  asked  with  puppy  eyes .  she  visibly  relaxed  and  agreed  to drive  me  to  school .

" i  will  stay  there  with  you  for  the  night  before  the  first  day  of  school ."

" thank  you  ,  sonu !"

we  chatted  for  a  couple of  minutes  and  then  we  both  went  down  to  eat  our  breakfast  along  with  our  parents . sonia  annouced  our  plans  about  her  driving  me  to  school .

"thats  a  great  idea  sonu " said  uncle venkat. he  was  a  business  man so  he  was  always  a  supporting  person .

"sorry  for  the  trouble , meena and  raj . " my  mom  said  to  my  uncle  and aunt.

" Aaradhya  is  also  like  my  daughter  besides  sonia  loves  to  ride , aishwarya ." aunt  ressured  my  mom . we  said  our  goodbyes  and  then  reached  my  home .i  immediately  crashed  onto  the  couch .my  mom  came  behind  me  shaking  her  head  at  my  laziness . dad  went  to  his  room  and  brought  some  papers  and  files . then  he  sat  next  to  me .
