Chapter 5 - History Lesson

Today his mother decided not to hold magic class and just attend to her garden. His father went to town to get supplies and Sopfina was helping her mom with something so she was wasn't free either. With everyone busy Tesla decided to brush up on his knowledge of this world. Memorizing such knowledge may prove useful later.

The book he was titled was simply called: World History. However how accurate this book was unkown.

The book begins with how this world was created. It was said to be have been created by a divine existence known as a God named Sol.

He still wasn't sure if that was simply the belief of the person who wrote the book.

Anyways it goes on to explain the races of this world.

There are 4 major races of this world.

Humans the first race. They are the majority race of this world. Humans are considered physically the weakest of the major races. The shortest lifespan of the 4. With the average human life being 80-150 years old. Of course that was if they managed survive and die of natural causes.

When Tesla saw that it he thought it weird that the people of this world actually had a longer lifespan than of his world.

Though magic more than made up for their physical shortcomings. The mana that one possessed depends on training and talent. The reason Humans made up the majority of the races was because humans were that humans were able to breed at a faster rate than the other races and their ability to adapt it was also for their versatile use in magic.

The second major race were Dwarves.
They were similar to humans in appearance with the only major difference being that most were short in height. They possessed a similar amount of mana to the average human and were stronger than the average human. The book describes Dwarves as being excellent craftsman. That had no particular specialties in magic much like humans. The life span of a dwarf was 100-200 years. They were the second most populus race.

The next race were the Eleven race. The Elves were described as a beautiful race with long pointy ears. They like humans their physical strength varies though they possessed more mana than all the other races. The mostly specialized in Earth and Wind magic. While they had the longest lifespan of the 4 races living up to 500 years they were the least populus race.

The 4th race, the Beastman race, are described as human with animal characteristics. They unlike the other 3 races possessed very little mana, however physically were the strongest race. They had an average lifespan of 190 years and are the 3rd most populus race.

He also didn't see any information regarding himself. Being mixed race and all.

Well whatever his outward appearance was human. So he didn't really care much.

The book then goes on to talk about Magic.

It explained what Tesla already knew from his mother but in more detail.

There are 6 major elements.

Fire, Water, Earth, Wind(Air), Light and Dark.

With Fire magic you can create fire.

With Water magic you can create water.

With Earth magic you create things like metals and rock.

With Wind can the create gusts of wind.

Light was the ability to manipulate light. However the book mentions another aspect of light it has the ability to heal.

With Dark magic you had the ability to manipulate shadows. The book mentions that most Dark magic is forbidden.
