Chapter 40. March

MARCH

"Omo! She'll be arriving any minute from now!" A student gossiped.
"What? Nuguya? (Who?)" A student asked another.

The whole school's been buzzing about it, about someone who'll come back from the States and study in their school. A not-so-new-in-their-sight student, Hyolyn. Hyolyn of Sistar. And they all have the same thing in mind-she just wants Kai back.

"What's going on?" Xiumin asked.
"She's back." D.O. said as he chewed on his fresh-baked bagel.
"Huh? Who?" Tao asked.
"Hyolyn." Lay answered with a straight face.
"Bworago?! (WHAT?!)" Luhan's eyes widened and reacted like a little girl.
"Yes, she is." Chen muttered.

All of sudden, Chanyeol, Kai, Suho, Sehun, Kris appeared in the scene.

"Hey guys, why are you late?" Suho greeted and asked.
"Excuse me hyung?! You're late! Not us!" D.O. answered like a little kid.
"Yah, I'm just messing with you. I know we're late. Now, quit eating bagels or else I'll hide all the flour we have in the house!" Suho joked.
"Aish!!" D.O. reacted.

Then, the talking channeled to Ji Eun.

"Where's my Ji Eun?" Luhan asked.
"Yah, don't call her yours. She's mine." Kai smirked. "She's not feeling well, so she decided to stay in the house."

Suddenly, students surrounded the lobby and the main doors.

"Uhh, what's going on?" Kai scratched his head and asked.

The main doors opened and it revealed a blonde, tan, short-skirted, sexy, attractive girl.

"I guess you know what's going on." Chen said in a teasing tone.

Kai's eyes widened to see the newly made Hyolyn. In the school uniform. But the difference amongst the others is, she looked hot. Kai's eyes was glued to her. Her eyes, lips, face, legs, figure, and everything.

Without Kai knowing, Hyolyn was about to go to his way. Hyolyn walked sexily to Kai, grabbed his hair, and kissed him hard. Kai responded to her kiss, but he later broke the kiss.

"I'm back, babe." Hyolyn smiled. She wrapped her arms around Kai, who was still figuring out what happened.
"What?" Kai clarified.
"You don't want me to be here?" Hyolyn asked.

Kai didn't respond.

"Aww, poor boyfriend. You have been waiting for me for long, haven't you?" Hyolyn smiled in a bitchy way. "C'mon, I've been wanting to spend some solo time with you!"

Hyolyn pulled Kai to be with her.

The others were left looking at them.

"This has to stop." Kris seriously said.
"I know. And Ji Eun must not know." Suho replied.
"What? But Hyolyn just..." Lay got cut off.
"Just kissed Kai?" Chen continued.
"Let's just hide that thing for the meantime." Suho said. "Arasso? (Get it?)"
"Ne. (Yes.)" The others replied.

A couple of hours passed and it came down to 4 PM in the afternoon. Kai was in the carpark, about to get in his car and drive, but suddenly, Chanyeol called him.

"Yah, Kai." Chanyeol called.
"Wae hyung? (Why hyung?)" Kai asked.
"Come here." Chanyeol said.

Kai stood next to Chanyeol.

"If you ever cheat on Ji Eun, don't do it. 'Cause I won't think twice bringing her back to me. Take care of her, love her, treat her more than anything you've treated anyone. Most importantly, give her everything she deserves. Or else I'll..." Chanyeol said.
"Or you'll what?" Kai bragged.
"Nothing. Just don't, please." Chanyeol begged.

*AFTER 3 HOURS *

"Are you okay, Kkamjongie?" Ji Eun sweetly hugged Kai from behind.
"I'm okay, don't worry." He answered.
"Really? Do you want anything?" Ji Eun asked.
"No, I'm okay. I don't want anything right now." Kai answered in a annoyed tone.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Ji Eun insisted.
"What the fuck, I'm fucking okay! Okay?" Kai slammed the glass and broke it.

Ji Eun was left there so surprised of what happened. She immediately kneel down to pick up the glass pieces. She had a little sob going on which made Kai alert about what had happened.

"I'm sorry Ji Eun-ah, it's just that I don't..." Kai got cut off.
"It's alright, okay? I'm fine. Sorry." Ji Eun smiled with her eyes gleaming with tears.
"I'm so sorry Ji Eun-ah, please forgive me." Kai muttered.
"Yah. You don't have to say that. I should be the one saying that." Ji Eun insisted, wiping her tears like a child.
"No.." Kai cupped Ji Eun's face. "I'm sorry, Ji Eun. I really am. And I won't do it again."

Kai wiped Ji Eun's tears away.

"Saranghae. (I love you.)" Kai hugged Ji Eun and whispered onto her ear.

Ji Eun looked at Kai in the eyes.

"Nado saranghae. (I love you too.)" Ji Eun muttered.

Kai's P.O.V.

She's beside me. I can't look at her or even touch her. I feel somewhat like a cheater or a thief. I can't do this. I won't fool her. She's way too much to be fooled.
