Chapter 12

*Yuki's POV*

Everyone was stunned by my words, as we were engulfed in silence

"Kagami's powerless against Kise, but his weakness is.." I heard Hyuga trailed off in disbelief

After a moment, Ryota gave me a sly grin, already snapped out from being stunned, as I gently let go of Tetsu

"So? It's true Kurokocchi's style is the only one I can't emitate. But what does that change?" I just mirrored his sly grin in response

When then heard a whistle and the referee announced the end of first quarter and the two minutes break

"As someone who witnessed and experienced how my mind works first hand, you know what will it change" after those words, I turned my back at him and walked towards our bench, whith my team following pursuit

I sighed as I propped myself on the bench, as Haru immediately handed me a water tumbler, as he wiped off my sweats

"Yuki-chan, we have 2 minutes to discuss the plan" Riko started, as I leaned my body forward, leaning both my elbows above my knees

We heard the Kaijou's coach yelled again, but we all focused on our team

"This plan won't be as detailed as earlier, but we can use this strategy for a long period, depending on the situation at hand. What I need here is the coordination of myself, Tiger, and Tetsu. We have two main options here, and an extra one. First, the Offense. We still have to stick with our marks, and whenever we have the ball, we'll immediately push forward. So Tiger, if you have the ball, I'm certain Ryota will probably guard you. He will certainly guess your next move, just to defend you. But the thing is, instead of pushing forward, just dribble the ball ahead a little. By that time, Tetsu, you should be in the backside of Tiger. So after the short dribble, pass the ball to Tetsu, and he will pass it to me, and I will score. Same, with the vice versa. Also, if ever you can't find opening from both Tiger and I, you can coordinate with the senpais. Just always keep a look out, and be aware of your surrounding. Second option, the defense. Ryota will probably be the one to control the game for them. This still includes our coordination. I know this might be absurd, but If Ryota has the ball, the both of us will mark him, Tetsu. We don't have to defend him though, because we have to let him pass us. And I'm certain that he'll do a drive on your side, because he knew he'll be having trouble passing my defense. By that time, Kagami will be behind us, and he will guard Ryota. In his short moment of surprise, you have to back tip the ball, and anyone from Captain and Izu, will get it to score. The extra one is pretty simple. In offense, we'll just push forward, and score as much as we can. In defense, Tiger and I will defend. But during defense, I need Captain's permission here.." I trailed off, as he looked at me with a 'what?' expression. "Captain, I want you to be the power forward in defense, while Tiger's the center, and I will be the point guard. Do I have the permission to do so?" I asked him with anticipation

"No objections. You don't have to ask permission, actually. After all, you're an all-rounder, remember?" he replied, giving me a headpat

"I still have to. But anyway, if ever you'll be stuck in slow judgement, just trust your gut. Is everything clear?" I finally ended, as they all yelled in unison

"Hai!"

"Coach, anything else?" I asked as turned to her

"You're really a genius, Yuki-chan. That could work, certainly. Kagami-kun, looks like you finally cooled down" she then faced Kagami, as I stood up and walked to his side

"No, I was alway--"

"You were really pissed!" Hyuga and Izuki both exclaimed, cutting Taiga off
