Dean glared at his brother, wondering how he was going to explain to his brother when he couldn't even understand him. Without thinking, Dean ran for the library wanting his brother to follow him. He turned toward his brother who evidently followed him, as Sam followed him Dean arrived at the library and barked pointing at the book on the shelf.

"Dean I don't speak dog, I don't know what that means," Sam told him. Dean barked again and Sam grabbed the book thinking it was what Dean was trying to say. "We need to find a way to communicate because I can't be seen talking to a dog," he continued as looked through the pages. Once more, Dean barked, annoyed that his brother hadn't realized what was going on and especially when it came with the spell.

"Sam there is literally a spell, don't make me give you the puppy dog eyes," Dean thought as Sam tried to find what his brother wanted him to see.

"Some of the lore says that the infection can also be spread through scratches, did the alpha scratch you?" Sam asked. Dean nodded but barked once again wanting Sam to flip to the next page. Sam flipped the page to find that Dean had wanted him to mind-meld, Sam looked at his brother like he was stupid but to prove his point, Dean growled at his brother. "Okay, okay, calm down don't get your whiskers in a twist," Sam walked over to the kitchen and got the things that he needed to make the potion. Once he got all the ingredients he began to mix them together. After it was done, Sam turned toward his brother. "I'm going to need pieces of your fur," Sam pulled a piece of fur out of Dean causing him to whimper in pain. "Stop being a wuss," Sam added the fur and drank the potion down, gagging briefly. Sam started reading the spell toward the end and waited for anything to change.

"I'm not a wuss you try turning into a dog unexpectedly and not knowing how to change back," Dean growled. Sam blinked a few times thinking he had heard wrong.

"Dean?" Sam asked.

"Yes, who else would it be?" Dean responded. Even in dog form he gave Sam an annoyed look. Sam tried his best not to laugh but it was hard to take his brother seriously when he was a dog.

"I'm sorry you just don't look like yourself," Sam laughed and couldn't resist scratching behind Dean's ear.

"Hey stop that," Dean growled even though he kinda liked it.

"But you're so cute," Sam responded. Dean snarled through his teeth making Sam stop. "Okay I'll stop," Sam gave in. "Why haven't you changed back? Skinwalkers can change back at will,"

"How am I supposed to know?" questioned Dean. "I wasn't expecting to turn into this, Sammy you got to help me out here,"

"Dean I don't think there's a cure, skinwalkers infections are like werewolves you can't cure them," Sam responded. He didn't want to say that because he desperately wished there was a cure because he wanted Dean to be himself, not a dog.

"Well there has to be something! What if we ask Bobby?" Dean asked his brother. "Maybe we can find a cure or something,"

"It's worth a try and you better be ready to help me explain to Bobby and other people why I had a dog with me," Sam told him.

"Deal," Dean said. Without another word, Sam walked over to one of the closets and grabbed something from it. "What are you looking for?"

"Well, here's the thing," Sam said. "To make this more believable you have to look the part, remember when you mind melded with Lucky, well," Sam pulled out a leash and collar. "Looks like it's your turn to wear the dog collar and leash,"

"I am not wearing that," Dean argued but he didn't get a say because Sam put the collar and leash on him anyway. "Sam get this off me it's uncomfortable,"

"No, your line is barking," Sam responded with a sly smile.

"Bark bark, get this stupid thing off!" Dean exclaimed as Sam began taking Dean toward the impala only Dean was fighting against it.

"Dean, stop struggling!" Sam yelled as they got to the impala.

"You're pulling me by the neck, you can't expect me not to," Dean asked, still quite annoyed. Sam sighed at his brother's stubbornness, he opened the passenger seat waiting for Dean to jump in.

"If you want Bobby's help, get your furry behind in that car," Sam said.

"Fine but don't scratch my car," Dean said as he jumped onto the seat. Sam had the urge to roll his eyes at the fact that Dean was still worried about his car at a time like this. Sam walked over to the drivers side and got in, he started the car and backed away from the driveway. Afterwards, he began making his way toward Bobby's house. While they were on a case Sam felt that if they were going to find the alpha then the best thing he could do was use Dean even though Dean really didn't like being a dog. To lighten the tension Sam messed with the radio trying to find music much to Dean's annoyance.

"Hey you can't pick the music, it's my car," Dean said. Sam had the perfect response for that since he was in the driver's seat now.

"House rules big brother driver picks the music, shot gun shuts his cake hole," Sam responded with a smug smile. Dean growled at the fact that Sam had used his own words against him but got distracted by the sight of a squirrel. "Dean, what are you doing?" Sam asked. "I'm trying to drive here," he continued as Dean tried to open the window with his paws so he could chase after the squirrel. Dean barked and continued until the squirrel was out of sight, Sam was confused by the scene but was more confused by the fact that Dean didn't respond. "Dean.." Sam trailed off.

"Ugh it burns," Dean said finally speaking.

"What burns?"Sam asked.

"My head was burning for a second, I think that the infection has some lasting effects," Dean responded. He whined and began scratching his ear with hind leg, Sam pretended to not be a little bit disrtubed by it. "I can still see you from over here Sammy," Dean said.

"Then you should know that you're making me very uncomfortable," Sam responded. Dean went silent until eventually the brothers arrived at Bobby's house. Sam pulled up, and parked the car. Climbing out, he reached over and grabbed the leash making his brother come out from the car. "Sure hope we can figure out how to change you back and how to explain to Bobby that you're a dog," Sam knocked on Bobby's door at the same time Bobby had answered.

"Sam? What are you doing here? I thought you and your brother were working a case," Bobby questioned.

"We were but um... there's something you should know," Sam said only Bobby's eyes landed on Dean who was still in dog form.

"And why do you have a dog?" Bobby questioned. "Where's your brother?"

"Can I come in, I'll explain everything I promise," Sam said. Bobby nodded his head and let Sam in, Sam walked in while Dean had been trying to pull on the leash since he hated it.

"Fine, just don't let that fleabag on the couch," Bobby said. Dean huffed and barked at Bobby trying to tell Bobby that he was the dog.

"Who are you calling a fleabag!" Dean said but it came out like barks.

"Bobby, um.. You might want to apologize," Sam said as he let go of Dean who quickly jumped on the couch. "That's not just any dog, that's Dean,"
