Even my senses are dulled by the attraction that seems to overwhelm me

I tossed and turned in my bed repeatedly.. unable to get any sleep. It could be my mild case of insomnia but my idiotic neighbor is no help at all. He's having a stupid party in the middle of the week. I mean seriously, who has a party on Wednesday. If only my parents were home but sadly they're at a business dinner with Mingi's parents.

"Ugh!" After debating for fifteen minutes and deciding I've had enough, I get out the bed. I slide into my fuzzy slippers, brush my hair into a quick ponytail and storm downstairs. I take a jacket from the coat rack, forgetting it's a little chilly in the middle of November, before leaving the house.

There's people outside goofing around, red cups littering the yard. The house looks like a club from the outside with the way the lights flicker colors. Ignoring the idiotic jocks, I storm in.

It's going to be hard finding the asshole in this sea of people.

"Who let the nerd next door in?" Some popular broad snorted, making a couple people laugh.

"Where's Mingi?"

"How should I know? Isn't he your boyfriend?" She sassed before walking.

"Not my boyfriend." I grumbled.

"Did you call me?" Mingi suddenly appeared, startling me.

"I've been looking all over for you. Can you turn the music down!?" I tried to yell over the obnoxiously loud stereo.

"I can't hear you!" He grinned.

"TURN THE MUSIC DOWN!"

"I still can't hear you. Come on." He says, pulling me upstairs. How is it that I can hear him but he can't hear me. Deaf idiot.

"Now, what was it that you needed?" He asks as soon as we're in his room.

"I said turn the music down, before I call the cops. Others are trying to enjoy their sleep!" I spat.

"You wouldn't call them on me."

"Try me." I glared at him hard.

"It must be exhausting pretending to hate me."

"Trust me I'm not pretending." I rolled my eyes before turning the door knob.

"Well you might as well get over it soon wifey." That stopped me dead in my tracks as I turn to look at him.

"What are you talking about?"

"You do know why our parents are at dinner together right? They want us to get married." I scoff.

"Not happening."

"It's five against one."

"You're agreeing?" I asked in disbelief. He merely shrugs, adding fuel to my anger. I marched up to him, although his frame towered me by a good foot. "I despise you. There's no way in hell I'm marrying you!"

"There's no point in fighting it. Soon you and that sweet pussy of yours will be all mine.. again."
