authors note <3 please read

y'all. this is my fourth book. of course, you have probably only seen 1, but yeah, I have written 3 other books. but if this is your first time meeting me, hi!!! im jenna! its so fantastic to meet you! this is my first book that isn't a fanfic, so yay!! before you start reading this book, there are a few disclaimers.

smut!! there is going to be heavy smut in this book, so keep that in mind whilst reading.

there may be spelling mistakes! if you see one, let me know!!

please read the authors notes I put at the end of chapters. they are little check ups to see how you're doing. i have been told that being asked your opinion on things for my book before I do them, makes people feel happy, and recognized. they keep you up to date.

there will be mentions of self harm, abuse, sexual abuse, toxic religion, toxic relationships, and sexual assault. There may be more triggers, but I will be sure to put them at the top of the chapter <3 your mental health matters to me.

i recommend listening to the songs I put at the beginning of the chapters. they really tie into the story. I think it's best to listen to it before you read the chapter, but listening to it at all is really appreciated.

this book is written in 4th person POV. What that means is that the narrator is talking to you. They're using 3rd person pronouns, but they're talking to you. So if you see "but that's just what I think." or "don't you think?" Or anything like that, know that it's not grammatically incorrect.

cov!d does NOT exist in this book. If I did write about cov!d, it would be really fucking confusing, ngl.

This book is in fact a slow burn, so the only smut you're going to be getting in the first 10 chapters is gonna be a kiss.
