[3rd person POV]
[In a far forgotten world]
The sight of the world can only be described as absolute and total hellscape. The planets sky is eclipsed in total darkness due to the energy of the sun being drained by an unknown force, leaving it as a pale ball of husk. When that event happened almost 89% of the world's population were wiped out. But thanks to the efforts of many heroes who gave their lives to save the few who remained the planet was able to still remain inhabitable. It took the combined efforts of science and magic to keep the planet on its rotation, but now the planet it almost freezing cold due to the sun no longer producing any rays of sunlight and the sky was nearly pitched black, with only the stars acting as very small beacons. The moon was also no longer able to be seen, due to the sunlight not reflecting off of it. The ozone layer of the planet would soon fall as well, due to the many factories build on the planet, creating smoke that clouded the entire sky, making clean air now a very precious resource. This world, is only the brink of total annihilation, we now focus our attention on one of these factories, the factory was crudely constructed, it was a weapons factory as well as a prison. Tall warriors incased in monstrous armor watched over the prisoners as they worked themselves to death, kicking them up when they fell, these men of iron were ruthless, especially to these prisoners.
As one prisoners fell before the iron giant, he looked down at him and spoke to the malnourished man, who's very ribs can be seen breaking through his skin. But the giant did not look down in curiosity or pity, but rather disgust.
Iron warrior:"Get up slave. Your work is not yet finished. For once in your pathetic fickle life you have a purpose to serve a power far greater than yours. Unless you also wish to also end up like your comrades and leader who tried to rebel."
The iron warrior points to a group of people who were hung up like drying clothes, with hooks going through their shoulders and their guts cleaved open, letting their entrails dangle, which mutated birds poked at and consumed. The lucky ones were the ones who died to the hooks.
???:"Zaranday. Can't you see this slave has no more use. Throw it in the furnace, like the others."
Iron warrior:"Very well. Kanxe."
The warrior grabs the frail man by his leg very harshly and without care, while dragging him, the man talked in a nasal voice, begging the warrior to stop. But the warrior didn't care for the man's pleas and soon reached a giant furnace that was surrounded by bricks of coal, which he crushed under every footstep he took. When he reached the furnace he tossed the man like a bag into the furnace, but the roaring flames overtook the man's screams. Some prisoners got distracted by the commotion, while some ignored it and continued working, the factory had many men, woman and even children working. The ones who stared at the scene were smacked across the back of their heads and told to continue working or else they too would face the same fate. The warrior known as Zaranday observed the workers and only stared, watching like a falcon, he watched, rarely did iron warriors complain, but in this small case he let's out a small sigh, his companion took notice of this and approaches him.
