Chapter 1 Introduction

Thank you for choosing to read my newest book, Words of Wisdom. These pages are filled with a collection of mini-sermons that I have written throughout the past couple of years.

Some of these teachings were inspired by my life experiences, while others were words of wisdom that God gave me to share with others.

After writing twenty to thirty of these mini-sermons, I realized that my Facebook friends and family weren't the only ones that could enjoy these teachings that God shared with me throughout the years. So, I decided that I would continue writing down every word of truth provided to me and put them all together in a book to share with others.

So here we have a collection of 52 teachings that God has given me to share. I hope that God speaks to you somewhere within these pages and that you hear His voice and know that He is with you.

Chapter 2 - A time for everything

Ecclesiastes 3:1

To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. (NKJV)

Have you been waiting for God to show up in your life? Maybe the promotion you have been hoping for hasn't happened yet. Or, you could still be searching for your soulmate.

The Bible tells us that there is an appointed time for every event under the heavens. What this means is that just because God hasn't given you your miracle yet, doesn't mean that it isn't coming. Just because you can't afford the house you always dreamed of doesn't mean that you won't get it someday. And just because you haven't received your healing yet, doesn't mean that it isn't just around the corner.

God has all of our blessings already planned for us. All we need to do is place our trust in Him and have faith that He will fulfill all of His promises. While I know that God will fulfill all of His promises to us, I also know that He will do it according to His schedule, not ours. This makes me think of something my pastor always preaches to us at church. He tells us that God is rarely early, but He is never late. He has preached this a thousand times, and I believe it is true. God is indeed always on time.
