Unexpected Breakup

Part 1

Jay slept on the couch after dinner, he's probably exhausted from work. You went to the bedroom and grabbed the blanket and went to the living room where Jay slept.

You covered him with the blanket to make sure he's feeling warm and cozy. You looked at him softly as he snores.

You admired every detail on his face, his eye, his nose, his lips, his eyebrows and everything. You felt so lucky to have him in your life that you thought it would be unbearable to lose him.

You washed away your thoughts and sit on the floor facing Jay. You placed your arms on the couch and then placed your head on it as a pillow.

You continued to admire him and you fell asleep not long after. In the morning you woke up finding yourself on the bed while being stared by Jay who was sitting beside you, smiling.

"Good morning,babe" he said as you were trying to open your eyes properly. After being conscious of the current situation, you smiled at him and said Good Morning to him with a cracked voice.

He chuckled as he finds it cute. You make yourself sit up on the bed and asked Jay "When did we get here?" "You don't remember?" You shook your head while being curious of what happened last night.

He let out a small chuckle, teasingly looking at you and then shook his head. Feeling a bit angry, you gently hit him on the shoulder begging him to tell what has happened between you two.

He playfully winced and then said "You were sleep walking last night, I asked you where you wanted to go and then you said to the lollipop kingdom so I said I'll lead you to it and then carried you here"

He was laughing while you were feeling embarrassed. To wash those feelings away, you told him about the time when he sleepwalk to the front door and talked to it. He rubbed behind his neck feeling a bit shy and then tickles you afterwards.

Jay went to work after breakfast and you realized you're having headache lately which you didn't tell Jay since you don't want to worry him. You called your bestie, Lia to go together to the hospital for a checkup.

"I am afraid to say but..." "But what doctor?" "I am afraid you are having... a brain cancer, young lady" the doctor looked at you worriedly. You looked down as Lia placed her hand on your shoulder comforting you.

The doctor quickly cut the silence and said "Good news is the tumor isn't growing fast, so you don't have to worry about it much" A bitter-sweet smile appeared on your face.

Back at home, you decided to tell Jay about your illness but you didn't want him to get unhappy as he tells you about what happened at work earlier. "I bumped into her, babe. Turns out, she's been working for the project I'm currently working on"

Jay talks about how he met his ex again after 5 years of being separated from studies. You knew he still have feelings for her from the way he smiles while talking about it but you didn't care a single thing.

While he's busy talking, his phone interrupted him. "It's her" he said as he answered the call. After a few minutes of being on call, Jay walked away with his phone to the bedroom and left you in the kitchen.

You were feeling upset, like, a lot upset. Do you think he'll go back with her or stayed with you until your last breath? Will you tell him about your illness?
