Chapter 4: my whole life is just a joke

Kiki (POV)

What the hell was up with that guy? I muttered angrily to myself and what the hell was up with me ? I practically was ready to jump some random guys bones back there. He was hot 1000% no doubt about it and his scent fuck, like a hot chocolate cinnamon roll . I shook my head why am I even thinking about him, I hurriedly rush into the classroom I believe I'm supposed to be in, I can't believe "Katarina" sent us all to this school, I really hate being the new kid.

Here I am at this new fucking school, having to deal with whatever the fuck I am Thanks to Katarina. Her daughter, Ava who really is a bitch sometimes, thinks she's in charge of whatever the fuck we're supposed to be and I'm stuck with a bunch of misfits who want to call Katarina "mother", when she just practically kidnapped us from that foster home all those years ago.

I sit at one of the tables in the cafeteria feeling frustrated when I feel a tap on my shoulder, I stiffen for a second but then I realize it was only Jessica, Ava's half sister and the only best friend that I have in the group. She sat down next to me, her eyes seemed really dark blue as opposed to the normal gray blue, they usually were

"Hey Jess, where were you?" I asked, then I realized she was glowing, like smitten in love glowing.

"Okay, I'll tell you, I was gonna wait but, I found my mate" she says excitedly.

"Your what?" I asked a little confused

"Right, I forgot mom didn't tell you anything, ok well having a mate is like the best thing in the whole wide world" she blushes "Mate's are your meant to be type thing, preordained by the moon goddess".

Again I'm all new to this world, apparently me and the other's except Ava and Jessica are a new breed of werewolf which is still hard to believe, even to me.

"Moon goddess?" I asked, her mother never informed us of anything either.

She huffed impatiently, "why mother refuses to tell you guys anything I'll never understand"

"Just tell me" I sigh "who is this "mate"?"

"His name is Tony, he is so hot" she says with dreamily sigh "He smells like a caramel frappe"

My thoughts instantly flickered to the guy, who kept sniffing me earlier, strangely his scent was still strong in my nose and he called me....mate omg omg omg .

"Um Jessica?" I tried to ask, I noticed the others started to come over with Ava in the lead.

"Yeah what's up?" She asked me

I chickened out though, "nothing, never mind" I said as they reached over to our table.

They all started sniffing the air, Ava looked angry "why do you two, have a stranger's scent on the both of you, explain?"

I had to really fight the urge not to flip her off and I really wanted to.

Jessica looked at me with shock "you found yours too?, so that's what you wanted to tell me, omg congrats, I was so distracted I didn't even notice until now"

Ava gives her sister a hard look "Jessica what is the meaning of this?"

"Ava, my loving sister, please don't tell mother" Jessica begged.

"Don't tell mother what?" demanded Ava, the others remained behind her.

"I found my mate, sis"Jessica whispered in a low voice

Ava's eyes flashed with anger, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a minute. When she finally opened her eyes, she directed the others to sit down. She sat down and glared at us for a split second before she spoke.
