I did my best to walk out on that stage with pride, but my legs were in pain with every step.
My arms could barely hold that cup of water Aizawa gave me.
I stood at the edge of the stage and saw Bakugo across from me.

"What the hell was that fight Tenshi?"
I tried to muster up a laugh.

"Honestly, no clue Bakugo."

"How about this. If you honor your promise and make this a fight one I won't forget, I'll let you call me by my first name."
I smiled and jumped up and down, trying to bear the pain.

"Of course. Either way I'm still calling you Katsuki."
He smirked and launched himself towards me.
I dodged, using my newly updated quirk. I over estimated how much I needed to move and teetered over the bounds. I managed to stay in by jumping over Katsuki as he tried to land an exploding punch.
I, again, over estimated how fast I needed to be on my landing and ended up smashing the ground below me to pieces.

I repeated the move I did earlier and pinned Bakugo to the ground.

"Hey there Katsuki!"
He scoffed and exploded in my face.
I backed away, the smoke blinding my vision.
Out of nowhere, Bakugo grabbed the back of my neck pinning me to the ground.
He pulled and restrained my hands behind my back and had a shit eating smirk on his face.

"Out of moves huh Tenshi?"
I smirked.

"Not just yet Katsuki!" I released a wave of blue flames at him. Not enough to leave any permanent damage. Just enough to stun.
Just like he taught me.

"You idiot!" He launched himself at me and we began to fight on the floor.
Soon enough, he had me pinned right side up, holding my hands on each side of my head while straddling my stomach.

"Now your out of moves." He said as we both panted, extremely exhausted.
I tried to lift my hand but he shifted his and held it down.

"Don't try anything snow white." At that moment I notice we were holding hands.

"Uhm.. Katsuki?"

"What?"

"My.. hand." I said trying to turn away.
He looked at where our hands intertwined and blushed.

"Shut up." He said averting his gaze.
He looked nice from this angle.
I smiled and tapped my hand three times.
A forfeit.

Bakugo POV
I pinned her down, not noticing the position we were in.

"Now your out of moves." I said panting. She looked beautiful. Her hair was tussled just enough to make it look elegant and messy at the same time.
She had that sparkle in her eyes like whenever we would spar after school and she finally got the upper hand. But this... this is different.

She didn't have that shit eating smirk on her face. She was.. admiring me..
She slightly lifted her hand but I held it down.

"Don't try anything snow white." Her hand felt soft but her fingertips were slightly calloused. She noticed something that smacked her out of our daze.

"Uhm...Katsuki?"

"What?"

"My.. Hand.."
I looked down and saw it. A deep blush covered my face and I turned away.

"Shut up."
She smiled and continued to stare at me- no. admire me before tapping out and ultimately forfeiting the match.

Dad-bi POV
I watched in shock as she shot herself across the arena and pin down her opponent.
She shook the ground below her and shatter the rock base.
She had the same quirk as her mother...
I slammed my whiskey on the bar table.

"I need a refill, it's gonna be a long night." I said and the Kurogiri nodded, filling up my glass and left to room.
I continued to sip from the glass as I watched her second match a few minutes later.
She was with that stupid blonde kid that walks her home and after some exchanged words he leaped at her. She pinned him down just like the last kid but he blew up in her face. I stood up, willing to burn down that entire arena if he even left a scratch on her.
Once the smoke cleared he had her pinned on the ground, restrained.
I scowled at the TV but she unleashed the blue flames onto him. She jumped up and the boy tackled her to the floor. They got on the floor and began to fight. She landed a few solid punches and kicks that made me unbelievably happy.
After a few minutes of this, he had her pinned down, her hands on the side of her head.
They were talking but I couldn't hear it.
Eventually she tapped out, making me fall back into my chair.

"Damn kid put up a damn good fight.."
I said whispering it.
I covered my mouth with my hand and smiled.

"She's growing into a fine young woman. I'm proud."
-
I was getting patched up in the infirmary even though it was only a few scratches.

"Thank you Recovery Girl."
I said smiling at her and she handed me a piece of candy.

"Of course dear. Your injuries aren't nearly as bad as some of these other whippersnappers."
I smiled and bowed at her before I left.
-
I watched as Bakugo fought his restraints and todoroki and tokoyami stood there quietly on their respective podiums. After a minute, Aizawa put a hand on my shoulder and dragged me down the stairs and to where you could enter the arena. I looked up at him and he said,

"You can go say something to your parents if you want. I'm sure they're watching."

"That seems... pretty selfish huh?"

"Nezu said it was okay. Go ahead. If anyone says anything I won't hesitate to step in."
I gulped and I walked out with Aizawa at my heels.
All Might noticed and handed me the mic while Aizawa silenced the crowd.

"Uhm... My name is Tenshi.. and I know that this seems selfish.. I didn't really wanna do it but the staff seems to... want me to reach out to my parents. I.... shit this is hard- I wanted to just ask... Why? Why did you leave? Why did you abandon me? Just... I can't tell you how long that's been on my mind now.." I chuckled.

"I wanted for you to just... be proud of me y'know? To show up out of the blue someday and tell me how much you wanted to keep me... But now I know that's never going to happen."
Tears started to fall down my face.

"I now know that if you wanted to see me, you would've done so already and.." I wiped my eyes.

"I want you to see what I can do. For you to regret leaving me and regret not being by my side."
I smiled at the main camera.

"So watch me! Watch me rise to the top and become the best of the best. Watch me rise from the pits you abandoned me in and watch me flourish! Watch the little baby girl you once knew as useless become a hero! Mom, Dad! I want you to see me not as your daughter, but as the woman on the television. The woman whom you know nothing of or about. The woman who climbs the ranks faster than All Might. Faster than Hawks. Watch me as I go beyond my goddamn limit. Thank you for listening everyone and have an amazing day!"
I handed the mic to Aizawa and walked back into the building.
-
Shitty Dad-bi POV
I watched as she poured her heart out for me and her mother. Kurogiri watched as well and noticed how entrapped I was with her words.

"I pity the poor girl.."
He said cleaning a glass.

"Why?" I said taking a sip of whiskey.

"Because. Her parents abandoned her and yet she's still reaching out to them. If anything they're a lost cause. Just another irresponsible parent in the crowd."

"Shut it."

"What?"

"I SAID SHUT IT."
I shatter the glass and walked out the bar.
