The sound of flapping wings echoed throughout the hallway before clinking overshadowed it. Jewelry and chains displayed all across a young boy's body as he walked down the hallways with his head bowed. His slightly cream and white tinted wings stretched out as the young boy sighed, cracking his knuckles as he continued the pace down the hallways.
Of course, the silence of the area made him feel slightly uneasy. Looking around warily until he finally reached the end of the hallway with a small frown.
" Why are you frowning, my friend? " The voice of a younger male echoed, startling the other in front of him.
The speaker was smiling happily, clutching a star shaped plushie in his arms tightly as the crown on his head tilted when he moved to quickly.
" I have a feeling that something's about to happen. " The other hummed out making the younger frown as well.
Tail twitching, the younger sighed and stretched his lilac colored wings with a wagging tail as he yawned.
" We've been waiting on the night of the fall to happen for way too long. What if it's delayed? What if something caused it to stop? What if- " The eldest paused as the prince squeezed his cheeks with a sigh.
" Dino, you should know that if anything were to happen, we'd be alerted way before. " The crowned prince chuckled, letting go of the shorter male's cheeks with a cheeky smile. " Walk with me. "
" But San- " Dino started before San interrupted his speech, " Walk with me, Dino. "
The older sighed before following the boy down the hallway, watching as the prince's eyes flashed a vibrant purple before multiple vision boards appeared on their sides as they walked.
" You should know that I always know what's happening, right? " San hummed, a flutter of his wings caused a lilac colored feather to fall graciously to the floor.
" Yes, your highness, but- "
" But nothing, Dino. " San snapped, turning his head towards Dino and quickly pacing towards him causing the boy to back up until his back hit the wall.
The lashing of the younger boy's tail made the advisor gulp, looking away from the prince's piercing purple gaze.
He watched as the vision boards lagged slightly from the change in emotions before disappearing completely. Leaving the hallways in the darkness of the setting sun once again.
" I know everything, Dino. I would not go a day without my people knowing that they are as safe as possible here. Who are you to suggest something this terrible to me? " Though San's voice was eerily calm, his lashing tail and exposed fangs gave off the frustration and anger.
" I'm sorry....but Prince San, you'll have to believe me when I say this; something terrible will happen to us! And before you know it, our kind could be wiped out. " Dino frowned, sounding so desperate that it caused San's anger to falter for a moment.
" Well, what are you sensing? " San huffed, crossing his arms as he glared at the boy.
" War. I'm sensing war. "

Blood splattered on the ground as screams and battle cries echoed through the air.
Multiple dragons were dying, falling from the clouds as storms racked through. Causing a disadvantage for the flyers.
" San! " Dino's faint yelling could be heard but the prince couldn't hear anything aside from the growling of the dragon holding him down.
Teeth were clamped around his neck, causing his to whimper and reach out for help. Tears streamed down the beautiful lilac dragon's cheeks as the searing pain caused his vision to blur.
He tried to choke out a cry for help but all that came out was a gasp for air as the jaws clamped tighter.
Everything hurt, his fur and feathers felt icky would the blood covering them. Dried blood clung to his feathers and claws from the battle with lowly soldiers of his own kind.
The young prince's gaze dulled slightly as it felt like his own life was trying to leave him, choking a sob free from his throat at the horrifying fear of death looming over him.
The weight on his back where injuries laid caused everything to worsen, as he let out another raspy cry for help.
Death seemed to grab ahold of him, making him feel sleepier than usual.
That was, until the heavy dragon holding him down seemed to disappear.
A weak attempt as inhaling made his cough out blood and whimper in pain, tears finally rolling down the fluffy dragon's cheeks as he tried to push himself to his feet.
Limping as he turned, seeing a golden dragon with pink tinted wings, tail, and ears snarling at his attacker.
Just as the attacker leaped at the dragon, blood sprayed from his underbelly as the beautiful dragon raked his claws right at his abdomen.
The prince could barely register anything after that. Faintly hearing Dino yelling his name and the golden dragon's worried gaze before he felt himself sinking from the clouds.
Eyes finally closing as sleepiness took over, the burning sensation to falling becoming numb.

" Hyun- "
" Hush, Dino. " Hyunjin's muffled voice sounded as he carried a heavily injured San by the scruff of his neck and a wounded Dino on his back.
The golden dragon huffed and rolled his eyes, walking slowly through the watery terrain.
They abandoned their kingdom, leaving after all the bloodshed that took place.
They had no home.
" But Hyunjin- "
" Shut it, Dino! If you would be quiet for once maybe I could find a place to rest! " The dragon's hiss could be heard echoing through the terrain as he paused to snap at Dino before continuing on his walk.
Hyunjin's eyes burned with tears before he shook his head to hide them. Feeling exhausted from just everything in general before he finally stopped for a moment to breathe.
It would be a lot faster to fly but it was too dangerous now, a possible chance of being spotted as survivors could cost them their lives if they flew.
" Dino, I need you to listen to me. " The oldest hummed sadly at the mention of his name, turning his gaze onto the youngest dragon.
" I have a friend in this terrain named Jeonghan. He has a whole group of people that could save San's life. The catch is, the creatures there aren't always so fond of our species. There's a possible chance we could get attacked. " Hyunjin spoke, flattening his ears against his golden feathered head as he looked down at the prince whom was clinging onto life by a string.
" And what of your friend's group? "
" Oh, they're all great creatures. They aren't the problem. The issue is the terrain of the area. " The youngest hummed out.
" Then go for it. "
" What? "
" Go for it Hyunjin. If it's a possibility to save San's life, go for it. We can't let him die here. We have to try. " Dino's tone sounded so lost and broken at the current possibilities flowing into his thoughts. " Please... "
" ....Alright, as you wish. "
