Here I'm just talking about my experience as a wattpad story reader and how I choose books to read . I have no intention to hurt or insult anyone.

1. Choose stories that are completed.

2.If you want to follow an ongoing story  check when it was last updated . If that was updated a year ago it's probably not worth following it . If you like the storyline keep it on a separate folder to to see if the author updated anything anytime.

3. Check the chapter list first . If an author has too much "Authors note" (speaking from my experience) it might not be that good.

STORY TIME:  I FOUND A BOOK WHICH CONTAINED 80-85 CHAPTERS SEEMS GOOD RIGHT? IF IT WAS GOOD WOULD I BE TELLING THIS ? NO. THAT BOOK HAD 30 " AUTHORS NOTE" YES I COUNTED THEM . BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY BUT THE STORY WASN'T MY TYPE. PROBABLY A STORY ABOUT BAD BOY GOOD GIRL . THE STORYLINE WAS DISASTROUS.

3. You would find many similar stories on wattpad (bad boy good girl , werewolves, vampire, bully falls in love with good girl ) probably 80% of those ideas are not original or not well executed. They probably read stories got super excited on how well received that story was and an attempted similar story with no creativity. You would get bored .

4. If you get annoyed by ads on wattpad app and or have an addiction to wattpad and trying to reduce it. Read wattpad stories on Google chrome.

5. If you want to follow an author for an ongoing story and if you can't decide if they will finish the story or not click on their profile see how many books they have published if 40% of the stories are completed there is a good chance your ongoing story will also have a finish line.

You've reached the end of published parts.
