Gideon had gone to Damien's house. He surprisingly found it and went there to get any clues on the kidnapping of his daughter. Gideon didn't think it was anyone other than his brother, it had to be revenge.
When Gideon arrived, he found it suspicious that his brother lived in a very distant neighborhood. The houses were pretty far from each other and there were trees surrounding each house. Gideon had to hike up to Damien's property to get a good look at his house. His brother seemed to be awake because there were a few lights on. When he got close enough, he looked through a window that was in the kitchen. He was a girl. She seemed very young and was very thin. She came over to the kitchen and he hid, but we weren't careful because he made a noise. She opened the back door and saw him. She didn't call for help from Damien like Gideon had expected her to,
"Help me"
she said with pleading eyes. This made Gideon confused.
What did she mean. Was she kidnapped as well?
"Please help me, he's taken me hostage."
she said but he just looked at her. When he saw her big brown eyes, he was reminded of his daughter. She had long black hair, big brown eyes, and the same round face as his daughter.
"He's coming, please help me. Go over to the trees and hide until I turn the kitchen light off ok."
she said, trying to make sure I understood. I simply nodded and headed over to the trees. When she turned the kitchen lights off I ran to my car and drove home. I needed to help that girl.
