Chapter 1 'Soulmates...'

'Holy fuck,Oh my gods everything hurts!..but...wait,where am I?Better yet what the hell happened to me?' I think,then I hear a door open then close.then footsteps.Well more like I can sense the vibrations,seeing as I'm deaf and for some reason don't have my hearing aids in right now.I slowly open my eyes and look to my right,I see a man in a suit,with a pair of sunglasses half in his pocket and with strawberry-blond hair and blue eyes.

I start to read his lips as he spoke,
"Sir?"He asked,I chuckled"Ma'am actually."I corrected him.His eyes widened a bit,and his face flushed a little in embarrassment."Sorry."He cleared his throat before continuing,
"Um..do you remember what happene
d?"He asked. "No.Sorry...uhm...?"I trai
led off."Sorry,My name is Horatio Caine,I'm with the Miami Dade Police Department."He said a little too fast I was only able to make out,'Horatio',
'Miami',and Police'.

"Um,could you repeat that but slower?"I ask him,he looks confused
"May I ask 'Why'?"He asks.I nod,
"Sorry,I'm def you see and well..I don't have my hearing aids at the moment,so I'm reading your lips but but it's hard to read a person's lips when they talk too fast,it's difficult for me to understand."I explain to him.He gives an,'Ooh' look to ensure me that he heard me,and understood.
He-er-Horatio had then repeated what he had said before but slower this time so that I was able to read his lips.

"Well..."I started after he finished,"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr.Horatio Caine."I said as I dipped my head a little as I said it,in a formal greeting type of way."The pleasure..."he trailed off slightly,"Is all mine."He said looking into were my eyes would be if he could see them that is,seeing as they're covered by my bangs."Luna."I say,Horatio gives a confused look.
"That's my name."I tell him,though he looks more confused. "Really?,because your file and twin brother over in the next room say your name is 'Lunaray' so care to elaborate?"He says just slowly enough for me to understand.
"It is technically my name,but I go by 'Luna','Lunaray' is just to formal for me."I explain,"Ah..I see."He says.

'Wait a fucking minute...Luka!',I gasp."Holy mother of fuck!"I exclaim,Making Horatio flinch slightly in surprise but he quickly regains his composure."Um..is something wrong?"He asks,"My brother!,Luka,is he alright?!"I ask frantically,and worried."I assure you,
your brother is just fine."Horatio reassures me.'Thank the gods...',I sigh in relief."So,Mr.Caine what happened to me-er-us?"I ask,and correct myself.

Horatio leans forward a bit and rests his elbows on his knees,and chin on his hands as he looks up to me,"That's what we're trying to figure out exactly Mrs.Apocalypse."He says,My face flushes slightly,"Uhm,Mr.Caine if I may,it's 'Ms.',not Mrs.' sir.."I tell him.
His eyes widen a little and he flushes a little,again,"O-oh"He clears his throat,"Sorry.."He apologizes, regaining his composure.I give him a slight,very small,smile."It's fine Mr.Caine,really."I reassure him.

There was a knock at the door,then I see Luka come inside making me quickly sit up.I wince in pain slightly,
"Ow.."I whisper.Luka come up to me from the other side,and he sits down on the bed then hugs me."I was worried about you,but..."He starts then glances at Horatio,"But seeing the guy you have protecting you,I'd say I shouldn't have been."He says.

I lean back a little and punch him in the arm."Ow!Hey!"Luka says holding his arm,"Ass.."I say bitterly.Out of the corner of my eye I can see Horatio smirking slightly in amusement.
"Anyway,look at the cutie assigned to me!"Luka said happily while pointing behind him to a guy in a light gray suit and light blue button up."Hmm..
yeah okay he is kinda cute. I'll give you that."I say smiling ever so slightly.

Horatio then clears hist throat,
"Mr.Wolfe,"He called,making the other guy perk up slightly upon being called.Guess that's his name then.
"Please,would you bring Mr.Apocalypse back to his room?"He asked."Of course H."He answered. Mr.Wolfe and Luka then went back out to room,leaving Horatio and I alone.

"Now"Horatio started,"I am sorry to say,but you two can't go back home yet."He said. This made me confused,
"Why not?"I ask.He looked down then back up at me,"We haven't caught the person who abducted you both yet,so you'll be staying with separate people for the time being."He told me.I gave a rather confused look."You're probably wondering who or where you'll be staying."He said.I nod agreeing,
"You're brother will be staying with Mr.Wolfe."Horatio informed me.I smirked slightly,"He'll like that."I say giggling slightly. Horatio smirked,"I’m sure he will."He said

"So then,who or where am I staying?"I ask him."With me."He told me.
"Alright."I say,"when can we leave?"
