Lily's pov
I was walking through the school hall as I see James the school bully. "Hey dumbass where's your dad still getting milk..oh wait your daddy is dead" James and his friends laugh at me. I run home crying it was 2 months ago my dad died in a car accident when he was out getting food as I run in to the family's big white house my mom trys to stop me but I run to my room and lock the door I jumped on my bed and cry myself to sleep.
(It is 3:00 am)
Lily's pov
I wake up to the sound of glass sharing I get my pocket knife my brother gave me be for he moved in with his girlfriend.
I walk down to the kitchen then I am hit with a knive to the stomach as I walk around the corner I tried to scream but nothing came up of my mouth but gasps for air "put her in the pool"a familiar voice said cutting through the silence I feel my leg being pulled i try to pull the knife out but one of the man stop me I scratched down his arm I feel his skin under my fingernails then all I feel is wet I am in the pool last Thing I remember was them pointing at me in the water and laughing. Then I wake up but I am out of the water I look different I am all pale I hear a scream I look behind me to see my mother holding...my body "MY BABY" is all my mother screams as the Neighbors call the cops "but I am not dead mom look at me I am right here" I say but she doesn't hear me. "You are dead" a calm yet rough voice said behind me I turn around to see a tall man with a top hat "but how can you see and hear me"i asked backing up "I am a shadow figure but some people call me the shadow man
*I know this is nothing to joke about I have seen shadow people but the don't mess with me so I don't mess with them but in this book the shadow man will be nice and father lily*
"Oh I am lily"i said looking at the cops that take my body away.
"They will find your killers because they have their DNA under your fingernails but come lily don't worry about that your free to do as you want" the shadow man said
"Can I come with you sir" lily grabs the man's hand they are cold
He looks down and smiled "sure little one"
I smiled my black hair stops at my lower back and now my eyes are red instead of the baby blue ones I had
