chapter one.
You're walking down the hallways alone. You were always avoided in school and nothing changed when you entered Hyakkaou Private Academy. The school is about gambling . You would practice as a child but you couldn't use that for this school.
While you're walking through the main area you see Mary Saotome. You've always admired her and wanted to be her friend. She turns around and you freeze, "W-what the? Why is she looking at me weird?!" She approaches you. "Hello, your name is?" She asks. You are confused about why she is asking you this question but you answer, "My name is y/n" She greets you and ask to gamble with you. You accept her offer and you two go up stairs.
You ask what game you guys will be playing. She stays silent. She gets dice and places them on the table. She explains what the game is, "We will be playing a simple game of dice. But there's a catch." You raise your eyebrow in confusion. "We will be gambling whatever you want. The choice is yours. Now let me explain the rules to the game. We will both roll 2 dices at the same time. Two for me two for you. Whoever rolls the greatest amount of dice after adding both values can pick something to take from the other person. There is no limits. You can even take all my rights. "
You start to sweat. "W-WHAT?! YOUR RIGHTS?! That's a lot on the line! What if I lose?!" She starts to laugh. "I get to take something from you." You start to shake, "O-okay.." You pick your dice and roll them, 5 and 5. You watch Mary go, she has a 6 and 6. She has 12. You start to panic. She starts to laugh, "I only want your love."
You two play another round and again you lose. 5 vs 10. You start to consider you have really bad luck. She looks at the floor, then looks back at you. "I don't want anything, just your love." You agree and then she ends the game.
She ask you to give her a hug goodbye. You didn't really have a choice but to accept her commands. You two part your ways. While you're checking your locker a note falls out. It's from Mary. You read, "Hello Y/N please meet me at the fountain school." When the finale bell rings you go outside waiting for Mary. She arrives 20 minutes after you arrived. You don't make a big deal about it. She explains why she wanted to meet you here, "The reason I asked you to come here is to explain what I took. I took almost everything. You aren't allowed to love anyone else expect me. Only me."
You start to worry. You have a family and friends. "But my family?!" She gets upset. "Me. Only me. I don't care about your family. If you don't agree with my terms we can gamble again and if you win you can decline these terms. But you only love me now. Me."
Your eyes start to water. You don't say anything. You nod your head yes then leave. On your way to your dorm you pass Runa. She's playing her game so you try to ignore her. She turns around in her chair and starts to laugh at you. "I heard you lost to Mary Saotome! You're lucky you aren't a house pet. That girl puts a lot on the line for simple games!" She continues to laugh at you.
You walk away from her in tears.
chapter two.
You wake up and you feel sick. You go up to the office and ask Kirari if you can stay in your dorm for the day. She doesn't care. When you return you spot Mary waiting for you. You start to yell at her, "WHAT IN THE WORLD MARY?! WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" She doesn't respond. You forgot about it and go sit on your bed. You try to go to bed but the feeling of Mary being in your room scares you. "Why are you here you have class." She starts to smile, "I'm here for you duh."
You two have a small conversation about your courses and then she offers to get you lunch. "For lunch there's sushi and broccoli." You accepted her offer and she got up and left. You grabbed your favorite manga and started to read, 5 minutes later you heard a knock on your door. It was Mary. "Here's your food darling!" You start to turn red. You cover your face to hide the fact that you are blushing. She starts to laugh at you. "You're so easy to embarrass!" You become even more red, "Just give me my God damn food!"
"Jeez fine-" She hands you her food. When you finish eating she takes your plate and takes it to the cafeteria. When she returned she sat on your bed and started staring at you. She grabbed your hands and you became bright red. Then she grabbed your face. She started whispering something in your ear. It sounded like gibberish.
She pushed you over and you looked like you were about to go to sleep. She got on top of you. You froze. Then you pushed her off and covered your face. "WHAT THE HELL MARY?!"
