THESE ARE NOT CANON, DON'T COME FOR ME!
While Bill and I went to Hogwarts together, and we both worked and still work at Gringotts, I had a desk job and he was a curse-breaker, we didn't actually meet until we both joined the Order after Voldemort's return in late June of 1995.
It was shortly after the return of Lord Voldemort that Bill applied for a transfer from his position as a curse-breaker in Egypt to instead have a desk job in England to try and help the Order more.
The transfer was accepted almost immediately, the Goblins didn't want the Death Eaters getting into the bank at all but they needed people to keep track of what they had and how much of it they had.
We started actually working together in 1995 shortly after his transfer went through and while I was extremely shy given how attractive I found him, he had no such problem!
He flirted with me constantly, and he seemed to find it adorable when I'd blush every time, always smiling as I quickly either changed the subject or quickly walked in the opposite direction.
This wasn't out my lack of interest in him, I just didn't think I deserved to be with someone like him.
He's tall, handsome, has long red hair that he typically has tied back in a ponytail, blue eyes, he has his left ear pierced, and his clothes while not at work remind me of something out of 80's rock concert.
While Bill and I have gotten married since this incident, it's the memory that sticks out the most when it comes to how my in-laws views of me have changed over the years.
When Bill and I first started dating, his mum, Molly, and his little sister, Ginny, made it blatantly obvious that they didn't like me.
We'd been dating for over a year the first time I stayed at the Burrow and the entire time I was there they both gave me dirty looks and would whisper things to each other that they thought I couldn't hear.
They seemed to think the only reason I was with Bill was because of his looks, which isn't the case.
Bill's incredibly laid back and doesn't easily get angry, he's loving, understanding, brave, extremely intelligent, and unbelievably funny..... I love him for who he is.
He proposed in the summer of 1996 and I obviously said yes, I couldn't imagine my life without him by this point.
This incident happened shortly after the Battle of The Astronomy Tower in 1997.
Bill had been seriously injured by a werewolf, Fenrir Greyback, who thankfully hadn't been transformed at the time but the damage was extensive. There were huge slashes across his face, and because of the fact Greyback was a werewolf, the injuries are cursed.
