"DRACO!" Hermione shouts in excitement and slams the door wide open. "DRACO!" She runs into the office in a hurry.
"DRACO!" she exclaims and realises she just interrupted Draco's meeting.

With Ronald Weasley.
"What are you doing here?" Hermione asks Ron nervously.
"We are having a meeting." Draco explains and walks up to Hermione.
"Was it something very important?" he whispers and she shakes her head.

"Would you please step outside again then Ms. Granger, we're just gonna wrap this up." he says in another tone and goes back to his desk. Awhile later Ronald comes out and Hermione goes back in. She looks at Draco in excitement.

"You've got to hear it all." she smiles. "So it was brought to my attention that the minister of magic wanted to see me and I mean... It didn't start very well when i first arrived. It was a bit awkward because he asked if I wanted to be called Ms Granger or Mrs Weasley.

So I think I yelled at him a bit... But then I apologised and guess what Draco! He offered me a job!!"
"Oh okay. Wait what? A job as what!?"

"He is resigning, and he wants me to be the minister! Honey isn't that just great?!"
"Yes, that's truly amazing! When?"
"In about a month."
"Woah."
"I know! This is a dream coming true! And I know you fired me because you didn't want me to be your boss..."

"And now you'll pretty much be my boss."
"Yeah, but I was thinking it's okay because of the whole... dream coming true."
"Of course it's okay Hermione, I wouldn't want to stop you from this in any way."
"You said my first name." she smiles and bites her lip.

"Damn it!" he suddenly shouts.
"What?"
"No not that, I just remembered..." her mumbles and runs out of the office.
"Weasley! Ronald Weasley!" he screams as the elevator leaves the floor. Draco stops.

"Damn it, damn it-" Hermione places a hand on his shoulder and he goes silent.
"Explain." she says.
"Eh... Ehum... Well... He said he was going to quit, but I told him he need to stay, for the sake of the ministry, and he was convinced as long as we don't switch minister." Draco tries to explain.

"Nice way of putting you words Draco."
"Oh shut it. At least I've got to convince him to stay even if his ex-fiancée is becoming his boss. Any ideas?"
"I mean not to be the one but... Wouldn't it be good if he just quit? At least I don't want to see him but I don't know about you."

"Not for me stupid, I'd love to get rid of Weasley but he's an incredible asset to the ministry. And honestly I feel a bit bad for him. You left him and his life fell apart."

"Malfoy! Don't you dare- You we're the one who told me to leave Ronald, you helped me make that decision. You, Draco Malfoy. So where the hell is this sympathy for Ronald Weasley coming from?!" she shouts. Draco bites his lip.

"Yeah..." he sighs. "I don't know what I was thinking with, you're right. And I didn't mean to insult you."
"Me neither... But hey, we've got to find somewhere to sleep tonight."
"Right, I know where we're going. Get your stuff and we'll leave right away."

Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy takes the few things they've got with and use floopowder to get to Diagon Alley. Then they start walking to a street not to far away, in central London. Draco shows the way to an apartment house.

They take the stairs all the way up to the top floor. On the mailbox it says "Greengrass". Draco knocks and Daphne opens. She owns the penthouse of an apartment in central London.

"You're late." she smiles.
"You knew we'd were coming over?" Hermione wonders. "Not even I did."
"You don't think Draco, for no reason would come here without asking when he knows my sister visits at least once a day, do you?"

Hermione laughs and she lets them into the apartment. Daphne shoes them a guest room.
"I only moved in about a month ago, so I'm sorry if it's not completely decorated in here. Oh and I made dinner, so let's eat while it's still warm."

Daphne, Hermione and Draco sits down at the table and they eat in silence. Hermione gives Draco looks from time to time. When they're finished the three of them do the dishes together. Then Hermione reads a book and Draco talks to Daphne in the living room.

It's not til late in the night that they go to bed. Draco closes the door to the guest room after Hermione goes in. They change clothes and Hermione sits down in one of the beds, Draco places his hand on her shoulder.

"This will work out. Soon you'll be the minister, we can start searching for somewhere to live. Perhaps move in together." Draco smiles.
"Going a little fast here aren't we, eh?"
"Uhum Granger we already lived together for I don't even know how long..."

"Oh, fair enough. This wasn't anything I ever thought I would say, but this time you're right. It's gonna work out."
"I love you, Granger."
"My name is Hermione, you said it earlier today."

"Granger. Don't you remember what I always say? I will keep calling you Granger until you one day become a Malfoy."
"Just shut it, and I love you too idiot."

Hermione lays down in the other bed. Draco looks at her and instead of laying down in the empty bed he lays down in the same bed as Hermione.
"Granger I don't think we've told my... I mean our friends. They don't know we're a couple." he whispers.

"Oh wow, yeah? Then let's tell them tomorrow. Sleep now. Goodnight Draco."
"Sweet dreams Granger." Draco smiles, he kisses her forehead and they fall asleep in each other's arms.
