"Remember, your assignment is due in two weeks, I want a full report on the symbolism found throughout the book. Oh, Dizz, can you stay behind?" Dizz felt his heart nearly jump out of his chest as the rest of the class began to file out of the room. The hyena made his way over to the front, crossing his arms in an attempt to hide his new belly.
"Yeah? What?" He felt his face flush, but he tried to pull it off coolly. The bull smiled and reached out, gently caressing the hyena's bulging stomach, and chuckled.
"That D+ is looking good on you." Dizz suddenly straightened up and began stammering, trying to think of a retort, but Gordon's hand lazily wiped it away. "What, you think that last night was enough to earn you an A in the class? No, Dizz, you'll have to work harder. If you're serious about getting that A, catch me at Marty's tonight, we'll grab another round of drinks." With a gentle slap to the dazed hyena's stomach, Professor Gordon sent his student off, leaving Dizz to imagine what a perfect, straight-A student would look like – if the bull had his way.
