Dangerous Minds Part Five

Cameron is livid, all he sees is red. When he looked over to see if Nash was okay and he saw him stand up to leave but Skate pulled him back down and scoots closer to him to kiss him Cameron took off, jumping over furniture to pull him back from his baby.

No one touches Nash but him. He's actually on friendly terms with Skate, they have a mutual friend Sammy Wilkinson who is close to Jack. But a casual acquaintance is not enough to save Skate from a beating.

Skate doesn't have time to react, Cameron is already wailing on him. He's punching him wherever he can reach. No one dares to stop him, they fear him. They didn't want him turning and hitting whoever tries to get him off of Skate.

Nash watches in fascination at the reaction Cameron has to someone barely touching him. Skate didn't listen to him and now he's paying the price.

It isn't until Sammy W. gets to the VIP area that he pulls Cameron back and attempts to calm him down. Skate's face is swelling up and his nose is bleeding profusely.

"Tell your boy if he even looks at Nash I'm putting a bullet in his fucking head," Cameron growls and he jerks his arm put of Sammy's grip and heads over to Nash who immediately clings to Cameron.

"He didn't touch you, did he baby?" He asks Nash softly. He rubs his back gently and Nash closes his eyes and buries his face in Cameron's neck.

"No, daddy he didn't." He mumbles and he's so happy that Cameron was close by and able to stop Skate before he did anything. Skate seems like the type of person to ignore everything that someone is saying to him and just do what he wants.

Cameron kisses the top of Nash's head gently and rubs his arms, comforting him. It's the first time that he's ever comforted someone but it comes so easily with Nash.

Cameron realizes then how hard he's falling for Nash. He also realizes that he doesn't care because he needs him. He signals to Jack that he's leaving and Jack nods at him, he stands and pulls Nash up with him. He leads Nash out to his car, they're quiet on the ride back to the condo, Cameron thinks about how Nash has completely changed him in the span of one week.

When they get to the condo, they undress and cuddle together in Cameron's bed. Cameron strokes Nash's cheek gently as they stare into each other's eyes.

"I'm falling so fucking hard for you, baby." Cameron murmurs, it's the first time he's confessed feelings of any kind to anyone. Nash gives him a happy smile, even though he thought Cameron might be falling for him he was still unsure, he's so different from Cameron. He's an inexperienced high school senior from the upper middle class suburbs whose first time drinking was at the club. He has no idea what Cameron sees in him, but he's so happy that he does.

"I'm falling for you too," Nash replies and he tells a small lie because he knows he's already fallen for the older boy.

Cameron leans in and kisses him softly, it's so different from his other kisses but Nash loves it all the same. They allow their tongues to tangle and dance together slowly. They spend the night kissing and cuddling. When Nash falls asleep in Cameron's arms, Cameron stays awake, he can't keep his eyes off of him. He wonders how he's going to say goodbye to him tomorrow. He's never been so attached to anyone like he has with Nash, he already knows he's never going to let Nash leave his side, there's no fucking way.

The next morning they meet the Jacks for breakfast and the four of them have a nice time together. They grow closer as a unit, the four of them and even though Cameron barely knows JJ, he trusts him just like Jack trusts Nash.

"We should get back to my house," JJ says. "My parents will be home soon and Nash supposedly slept over my house."

Cameron frowns but nods, he's a rule breaker but he doesn't want to make things hard for Nash. They pay the bill and the. Head out in Cameron's car when they reach JJ's house, his parents aren't home yet, Cameron turns to Nash and strokes his cheek gently. He leans over and presses a soft kiss on his lips.
