A Thousand words || JJK Jungkook

A picture I have of my girlfriend, which is the only picture I love of us. It's our last picture together before she passed.

I carry it every where I go , I made a copy of it just in case. Her name is May, she was the best person ever , she really cared about me and made sure I was alright.

I truly miss her it's been 3 years without her.

She would have wanted me to move on but I really can't do that. I tried ,it always ends each time once they figure out I have a kid. Thats the only person that's keeping me going. But one  person I met didn't turn me down because of my kid.

I haven't talk to her in months so I don't know what she's doing now. I have her number still she was a good friend that I met recently. She really enjoys the baby, isn't that sweet Lani.

I put the Baby in her car seat and drive to her grandma's house.

"We're going to grandmas house , wake Layla" I say to the "baby". She wakes up rubbing her eyes as I take her out of the car.

I walk to the front door , knocking on it. I notice a few cars parked in front of the house.

"Now who is knocking on this door" her grandmother says opening the door.

"Oh Jungkook , Layla" she says with a smile , Layla reaches for her.

"She's here for a visit" I say to her

"Oh I'm having a little party for my friends, they invited their kids maybe Layla can get to know them" she says to me as we walk in.

"Everyone this is my Son in law Jungkook and his daughter Layla" she says to everyone in there , I wave to them.

"Oh my gosh she looks just like May " the person says , I smile

Layla jumps down and runs to the other kids that we're playing games. I walk to the bathroom, after that I stop by a lounge room.

"Do you guys know where everything is , I notice she's changed the house around." I say to people that were in there.

"Well this is the bedroom now but if you're looking for the lounge room it's the next door down" she says and I nod my head.

As I'm walking out I stop walking seeing someone in front of me.

"Jungkook" she says waving

"Oh hey" I say to her, surprise, it's my friend Kehlani

"I haven't seen you in bit , what have you been up to" she says smiling

"Been with Layla for now , I work part time so I can spend time with her" I say to her

"Layla's here, where?" She says

"In there with the kids" I say to her

1 hour later , I talk with her most of the night.

She doesn't know who May is , I didn't mention her to Kehlani , I had to build a friendship first before I say something.

"Kehlani , since we known each for about a year I wanted to tell you something" I say to her she nods her head.

I tell her everything about May , what happened to her. She looks like she wants to cry.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" she says rubbing my shoulder

I nod my head

"So thank you for still sticking around , sorry for not talking to you for those couple months , I've been busy with Layla" I say to her she hugs me

"Just know I'll stick with you no matter what, I was taught to be kind to people" she says

"May would I have wanted me to move on , but when I did everyone left once they found out I had a kid but you, why?" I say to her

"You're a great person and Layla is so adorable, doesn't everyone want to start a family or settle with someone , so I thought I would be rude to leave you" she says to me

"Not saying I had that in mind , cuz I didn't I truly enjoy spending time with you" she says to me

Layla comes running into the room , Kehlani nearly screams due to excitement.

"Lani" Layla says jumping into her arms

Kehlani looks so happy around Layla. Same for Layla she asks recently if I knew where Kehlani was . I didn't know if we would see her again. But here we are , and now , how am I going to separate them. I shake my head laughing at them singing and dancing.

"I miss you Layla" she says to her bending down

"Did you miss me" she says again and Layla nods her head

"So did daddy" she says , pointing to me , Kehlani looks up to me and back to Layla

"You're his best friend" she says laughing , I scratched my head

My own kid ratting me out , she's so silly I swear.

"I Gotta go , we are playing hide and seek" Layla runs out the room giggling as a kid starts chasing her.

"She's so adorable" Kehlani says

"Thank you" I say to her

"Back to what I was saying before , you're such an amazing dad , May would be so proud of you" she says clapping her hands smiling towards me , I nod.

"Thank you so much , Layla really enjoys your company, she ask me where you were but I couldn't say anything at the time since I didn't want to make her too too sad"

She holds my shoulder

"And Jungkook , you don't have to move on , even if you find someone else you still are going to love May and don't stop loving her either , you hear me" she says as I wipe my tears away.

"I found someone , yes I still love May but I want this person now" I say to her

"Oh who is this person" she asks me

"It's you " I say to her while smiling ear to ear like an crazy person.

She smiles so hard.
