singing silly songs with caydence and playing guitar is one of my favorite things at camp. she has a good voice. my partner is matt, nice guy. he seems like he has something on his shoulders. dylan's partner doesn't talk which concerns me. he talks, a lot.
the goofy bracelets and campfire stories are just the start of a bright summer. i feel something electric. this summer, this summer is going to be, big. for me anyway.
i can't wait for this amazing summer. my bones ache as i think about mud, and lakes, tree branches and long hikes. i can't wait to get to know great people and understand great people.
i gladly take the tissue from caydence. there is something, something i have wanted to do, something i have wanted to say.
though, everybody has something to hide. i put my guitar away and walk with caydence and matt. we walk up the footpath, introducing them to each other. caydence departs to the other footpath. at this point ty and matt are nearly at the cabin. "how did you like the introduction?" ty asked eagerly. "it was nice." matt replied. "made me feel really welcomed." he added. "great matt!" ty replied.
matt for the first time was trying to settle, and relax. relax in a different way than he had been for the past year.
