Thinking out Loud

"Do you think you will ever fall out of love with me?" I ask lovingly pecking his lips.

"Never," He murmurs as he buries his face in my hair. I laugh as tug on his hair, making him look up. "I fall in love with you everyday." I smile as pull his lips to meet mine.

"Aren't you going to ask about my love?" I mumble into the kiss.

"Nope," He says looking into my green eyes. "I love enough for the two of us."

"I love enough for the two of us too. Together, we love enough for four people."

"We love more than usual, I love you Nina."

"I love you more." I pull him down for another kiss. "Do you think you'll love me when I'm old and grey?"

"Your soul can never grow old. You'll stay young forever, because love never dies. And for me loving you even when we're old and grey? I will love you till my last breath."

"You know, when I was young; I never believed in love. Then my heart connected with yours when our hands touched for the first time."

"Sparks flew and I kissed you. I didn't even know you." He laughs.

"Well Drew, aren't you glad you kissed me? Most love stories start with a blooming friendship, ours started with a kiss."

"Ours started with our first kiss."

"Yes, and for that I am angry. You didn't even ask for my permission. Hell, we had never said two words to each other and you plant a huge one on me." I playfully scold.

"Don't be mad, I promise. I have never in my life kissed anyone but you." He pleads. I pretend to be mad still. "Nina, you can't be mad at me! What happened to loving me until we're 70?" I laugh and kiss his pouty lips with tears in my eyes.

"Don't cry. That kiss was the best of my life for it bought me to you. I love you more than words could describe."

"I don't think so. I can get you everything you desire even if it is the last thing I do."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Fine, I want something."

"What do you want?"

"I want a star."

"Okay, I'll arrange for a rocket to take me to space. I might mot make it out alive..." I shut him up with a kiss.

"You really are whipped my friend."

"And you're not?"

"I am, and I'm proud."

"Good." He smiles as he kisses me, the love radiating off our bodies. "So Miss. Richards, how about a date? Tonight?" I smile and nod.

"Okay Mr. Hart, a date it is. How should I dress?"

"Wear a dress. I would recommend a green one to go with your eyes." I pout.

"I wanted to wear blue, the colour of your eyes." I mutter.

"Trust me, green is the best choice." He whispers kissing me once more. "I better go now. Pick you up at six?" Unable to speak, I nod.

Huh? That's weird, he never just leaves. Must be busy.

I look at the time and it's already three thirty so I busy myself to find the perfect dress for tonight. I really want to impress him, even though we've been dating for three years. Every date feels like the first. Hmm, that's catchy.

With a smile and a bright idea, I pull out the green dress. He is going to be so surprised.

I hurry up and shower, making sure to wash my hair. I then start to blow-dry my hair and do my make-up which consists of some mascara, eye-liner and lip-balm. I then squeeze into my dress, I sigh in relief as I see it still fits perfectly.

I then get styling my brown hair in the half-updo I did on our first date. This is going to such a good trip down memory lane. The doorbell rings making butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"Coming!" I yell as I slip on the black flats I wore three years ago. "Y-you wore that too." I sputter checking him out. He has the same blue dress-shirt and the dress pants. Also he has the same black tie and a blazer to go with it.

"Every date is like our first." He smiles as he recognizes my outfit. I nod leaning in for a kiss. He shakes his head. "Let's go on the date first. Remember, I kissed you after I asked you a very important question." A flicker of excitement lights up in my chest.

A very important question. My heart beats faster and I laugh as I see that he has traded his new car for the old one. The one I thought was mine, the one that brought us together.

"I love this car!" I exclaim, running to open the door for myself. Drew stops me and he opens to door with a small bow, just like he did three years ago. I play along and peck his cheek like I did then.

"What was the kiss for?" He quotes, thinking back to our first date.

"For being sweet." I blush; damn he still has the power to make me blush.

"You're cute when you blush." He smirks. I look up at him and he genuinely means it. I blush more, realizing that he is still staring at me.

"Stop staring." I mutter, getting in the car. He then starts to drive to the café that had opened up the day we started dating. It has been our little meeting spot since then.

Linda, the owner smiles and gives us our food as soon as we take a seat. She winks at Drew before disappearing into the kitchen.

"Hey! That's the same thing I ate that day." I exclaim with a huge cheesy grin on my face. We finish eating, talking nonsense like we do everyday.

"I love you." He says wiping a bit of ice-cream from my cheek.

"Love you more." I laugh as I smear the ice-cream on his forehead.

"Hey! No fair!" He exclaims wiping his forehead. I giggle and finish the last spoon of the delicious cookies and cream ice-cream. He then takes me by the hand and we walk to 'love garden' across from the café. It's a little park that we discovered on our first date. He stops as soon he comes to the tree. This is where he had asked me to be his girlfriend that night.

"Nina, that's the tree and I am really nervous." He starts. I know better than to disturb him so I let him talk. "I have wanted to ask you this for the past month and I have been carrying this velvet box around everywhere." He pauses as he takes out a red box. "I know that you don't need an hour long speech as I declare my love for you. I know that if I give you that speech then it would take years and years just to complete it. So here it goes. Nina Richards, I love you more than words could describe. Would you do me the honors of calling you Mrs. Drew Hart?" He asks leaning down on one knee.

I nod and manage to whisper a barley audible 'yes' before his lips connect with mine and the beautiful diamond ring slides on to my ring finger. Our hearts connected that day when he randomly kissed me and I cannot be more grateful.
