Mother: Soo-Min
Both parents died in a car accident in the year 2000. Eunji was in the car with them. Her grandparents on her mother's side (who lived in Germany) became the guardians.

Grew up learning Korean, German, and Russian, and only started learning the other languages in her spare time after joining BTS.
