Who is this maiden progressing wistfully throughout the sky, her hair an ashen shade of twilight, alluring all who may cross her path? Oh that's rights, it's me.

I was flying through the sky, with the brisk wind dancing around me, and the cotton clouds riding above me. I had just left the town of Erstonia,  I left with quick haste to go to my next destination, it was said to be the wonderful town of Kings' Haven, I had heard that it was a wonderful city, of great wealth, adventure, and much more. The wealth got me intrigued to go look for myself.

As I was flying, I had noticed that in my joy of flying out and about, the sun had said it's final farewell for the day, and the moon had started to peek out of where the sun had been.

'I'd better find somewhere to stay for the night...' I thought to myself, I wandered throughout the sky until I found a log cabin, it looked beautiful, just as if you had taken it right out of a magazine entitled "Fairytale Houses that are sure to whisk you away!" Or something like that.

'Maybe they would let me spend the night there? Of course I can pay some if it comes down to it.'

I flew down to the cabin, propped my broom up, and knocked on the door. I could hear shuffling around inside, so I could tell that someone was there.

The door opened.

"Hello?" A man asked, looking at me with a vivid expression.

"Um, yes, hello, I am a traveler and I was wondering if I was aloud to stay here for the night." Of course, it was only my last option that I could take before sleeping in a cave or outside on the ground, a cabin sounded more appealing, even if I had to share with someone for the night.

The man thought for a moment before speaking.

"Um, yes, that would be fine, as long as your not sick with something."

'Do I look sick?' I thought to myself, of course, I would never have actually said that to the poor man's face.

"No, I am not." I said bluntly.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off offensive!" He said apologetically.

"It's fine." I said again, I must have sounded cold, but I did try not to.

"Am I aloud to come in now?" I asked the jolly man in overalls.

"Sure! Make yourself at home!" The man said, returning to his jolly state.

I walked into the house, it had a workshop type area attached to it.

"Are you cutting wood?" I asked, I could understand, but, it was still somewhat warm outside and in for him to be using wood already.

"Yes, I am, my wife told me that she was feeling cold, so I decided to light a fire when I chop enough for it."

'He has a wife? I wonder if she's sleeping, she is awfully quiet.' I thought to myself. I looked around the house to see my surroundings better. There was three rooms besides the kitchen and the workshop.

I walked to a door and turned the knob.

"NO, DON'T GO IN THERE!" the man warned, turning to me with vivid anger, ripping my arm off the handle.

"My wife's in there, she's sick right now, if you go in, it might risk her getting sicker..." The man said, it seemed that he was hiding something, and I wanted to find out.

"Follow me to the guest room please!" He said, it had seemed as if he had returned to his original state, but it didn't feel as if that was the case, it felt like he was playing house, or, if I may, to say more bluntly, it was as if he was pretending.
